Every staff member we ran into was incredibly friendly. The hotel itself is very quiet. There is a hospital next door so you could often hear emergency vehicles on the street but that is part of being in a city. The room was very comfortable and clean. One day it was raining and our maid made sure that went and borrowed an umbrella from the front desk.

Very outdated property in urgent need for full renovation. Old, probably over 30 years old windows. One of them wont even close. Batteries in safe were gone. Very poor value for $$$. Located next to the major hospital, emergency vehicles in and out 24 hours. Most staff in the bar and restaurant provided amazing service. Front desk manager Sam very unhelpful and ignorant, virtually turned his back on us while we were dealing with the issue. The worst experiences we ever had and we travel 3 times per year on average. Untill the changes are made, I would stay away from this hotel.

Loved the view from the 28th floor, simply breathtaking sunset. Got upgraded to higher floor when I requested a free upgrade for my birthday being to that day. We had our 2 teenagers with us and the room didn't have a pullout bed. We made do because the view was amazing.

Facilities were excellent and the room upgrade a wonderful surprise. Loved the Beyond Coffee cafe. Accessibility to transportation was also excellent, but the location itself inhibited walkability to some degree since the area did have a significant number of panhandlers. Also being on such a main thoroughfare as Burrard, even being on the 16th floor there was a lot of street noise even all night, particularly due to ambulance runs.

3 night stay before cruise!
Had an enjoyable stay in Vancouver at this hotel. It is beside a hospital so there are ambulances arriving but did not really affect sleep. The room was spacious with microwave, kettle for tea making. The shower was great, the bed comfortable and the view of the bay great. Walking distance to Granville Island Markets if you are reasonably fit. Wifi good

Staff wonderful helping store luggage while waiting for room. Very helpful in getting us into a room a bit earlier than expected. Very helpful in every way. Great view!

Good hotel but stay lower floors or wait forever
Good stay and pretty nice, central location. Pricey overall but compared to a lot of the other hotels in the area, it was good. Lots of “unhoused” people and drugs addicts however they seemed to keep to themselves and didn’t cause much issues. Only real issue/annoyance was being on the 30th floor, they have 4 elevators but you are still always waiting. If your going down anywhere around breakfast/evening - you’ll be waiting for a while or making multiple stops and getting cozy with some strangers

We felt very safe whilst in the hotel & was a great location & staff were very great & very helpful but the hotel rooms, on both our stays in different rooms, were very dated & extremely noisy to stay in. It didn’t seem like the sliding glass door/windows could shut properly so the outside street noise was constantly heard quite loudly.

Fantastic Stay!
We stayed two days at this hotel before boarding an Alaskan cruise and this hotel was perfect! As soon as we checked in, the wonderful front desk girl, advised us that we have been upgraded to a penthouse room, which was fantastic as we were celebrating our anniversary! We had an amazing Suite with breathtaking views. We had dinner downstairs at Prime One. Our waiter, Lalo, was attentive, funny and very personable. We have nothing but great things to say about the entire staff and crew. The coffee shop downstairs was a great way to start our mornings and had delicious snacks.

This hotel is very central to shopping and restaurants. You can even walk to the little ferry boat to get to Granville Island. The hotel rooms have been updated and are clean, and equipped with everything you need. We had a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and some dishes and cutlery. The staff were all very kind and professional. The underground parking is very good and inexpensive. They have a pool and fitness Centre however they are in the basement and it just felt alittle unsafe to go by myself. I would definitely stay here again.

Just so so.
Location is perfectly situated downtown Vancouver. The bldg is old and needs some repair. Our toilet leaked out the bottom. Supposed to be repaired but still leaked and I slid on the water like an Olympic ice skater and nailed the landing in the tub. But otherwise the sheets were clean. And so were the towels. The noise outside our room was loud and constant making it hard to sleep all night.

This hotel is perfect for families because of the huge size rooms with kitchens. Just avoid the park behind, its playground isnt good and its mostly people "nodding".
