The hotel was overall fine. We booked a king size suite room and was put into a double bed suite room. I will say they did offer to put us in a new room but we decided it was okay how it was. The stay was overall good, I think the only two things I'd mention are that the room with the beds was so stuffy and hot, seemingly there was no way to turn the heat off so we had to sleep with the window wide open to get some fresh air. There was also black mold growing on the ceiling of the shower so I didn't actually feel super comfortable staying there longer than 48 hours. The suite we were in could definitely use a renovation. The fridge was yellowing in colour and the carpeting was coming up in some of the corners.

Liked location, staff, room, view, gym, cleanliness. Would have also liked having a sink, bowls, and dinner plates at the kitchenette, as well as cutlery. That said, we always enjoy staying at the Century.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the upgrade to a full suite. Overall no issues sufficient to impact our stay but I did want to mention them -There were a few small deficiencies with the suite - and I mean small , but noteworthy. The kitchen sink had a pretty serious drop, and the hot water in the shower was temperamental. The first thing me we used it the hot just... Kept getting hotter!?! And the next morning we just had to crank the hot all the way and it just went from barely warm to getting too hot just before I finished showering. Kinda weird. But the issue I could see other folks really having an issue with were the windows- they were single pane didn't really seal and therefore were quite drafty (would have been terrible if it was genuinely cold out) and let in sooooo much noise. It's not the hotels fault that Burrard is a noisy street, but holy heck those windows are ollkkd. And I have magine they must be wasting a ton of heat through them! Despite mentioning those small things I do want to stress our stay was great, the staff were lovely and I only wish to mention those deficiencies in hopes that the hotel eventually addresses them. Thank you!

In general the room was nice, clean, roomy and had a great view (27th floor). The staff was helpful, but did not understand how surprised I was that a suite for 4 did not have a sofa bed (???). Instead we got a full cot - not a queen for 2 kids over 11 years old. There were no extra blankets either like most suites. I would not have chose this room at this price point. The coffee machine also did not work after 1 coffee.

The property far exceeded some of the reviews I read. My room was updated and extremely comfortable. Every member of the staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, was accommodating. I will definitely stay at this property again when I return to Vancouver!
