The front desk staff of this were absolutely amazing and so helpful with recommendations! They were extremely friendly and also accommodating. They were able to get us in our room earlier as well. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Rooms were average but got the job done. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was a little loud. Reviews said that the rooms were loud on the first floor but we didn’t hear anything.

Handy central Vancouver hotel
Very handily situated hotel. The staff throughout were wonderful - from the receptionist who greeted me, to those on duty the next day, check-out and the person who looked after the luggage on that day. I liked the room in principle - big enough for a one-night stay, with a desk so I could work the next morning, and the bathroom was fine. My only problem was the the quality of the sheets. I can't believe (and really don't want to) that the sheets had not been changed but they were so thin that they were crumpled (and therefore felt used) - the opposite of the crispness that you expect, and rely on, in a hotel. It made me very uncomfortable thinking they might not be clean ones. Common Quality Inn - make sure you have good sheets! That is an important thing with a hotel.

The hotel was nice enough. However the room had a weird smell. We had to keep the curtains closed as they were doing work to the small courtyard. The room was tiny and didn’t have a fridge. The place next door offering breakfast for 16.99 Buffett breakfast wasn’t the best . They offered bacon, scrambled Eggs, hashbrowns and toast. If you wanted coffee/ tea/ juice or cereal it was extra. So that was disappointing.

I had booked 3 days but decided to cut my stay short due to noisy rooms. Granted its an old building, its not as advertise and its noisy. We couldnt sleep. Staff was very nice regardless which makes it OK.

This was a convenient location at a half decent price. The surrounding area was not the most salubrious but most of Vancouver seems like that nowadays. There is a lot of apparent homeless drug users in the downtown area. The actual hotel was okay. The staff and check in were good. The room was quite small and the decor was slightly tired in places, especially the bathroom. Room was made up daily. All in all, if you want a one or two night value stop, I would recommend this hotel but would suggest somewhere more spacious and comfortable for longer stays.

Excellent stay - the hotel doesn’t deserve the reviews it gets. Excellent value for money, rooms clean & serviced each day! Quality of bedding/pillows etc very good. Great location to explore from. Small number of homeless people within the vicinity of the hotel but no problems and definitely not to the degree mentioned in other reviews. Stayed on the top floor in a suite with my family which included children and we had no problems at all.

Easy check in and check out, rooms are ok, just the doors they don't feel or look really safe, you can see that some of the doors were forced from outside when tehy were locked. Lots of drug addicts around the area and they get agresive sometimes, not really mice to go outside at night.

This hotel is a hidden gem in downtown Vancouver. Older building, but renovated rooms, very quiet, clean and the staff are knowledgeable.
