I had to wait till 4:35p (I got there at 3:35p), because the room was not ready until then. I was tired from a long drive and had to wait beyond check in time for a room. Even then, I had to walk back to the front desk because the key didn’t work.

Multiple issues occurred during our stay. We booked a room for 5 people. we showed up at night after a long day of travel to a hotel reservation that only provided my family with 4 spots to sleep. We were told there was not a single extra room for our 5th guest to sleep. we were given pillows and a blanket for her to sleep on the floor! Luckily we convinced my daughter that she probably had the best spot in the house. come to find out we were right. our beds were wrapped in plastic sheets and pillow cases that made a racket any time someone needed to turn in their sleep. The next morning we woke up to no continental breakfast that was listed on the hotels amenities. The cook was out and we were not offered any type of reimbursed. Lastly, the day we checked out I got a $300.00 charge that no one informed us would be charged. Of course I had to call see why there was a $300.00 charge on my account and they informed us it was an insurance hold or something. Not sure why the charge was made on the day I checked out rather than the day I checked it. Terrible experience.

One day the breakfast service was not available. There is a Quality Inn adjacent with same entrance. It might be a facility for homeless people. Didn’t feel too safe.

We had someone else’s towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door so makes me wonder about cleanliness. Property next door is for the homeless and a bit rundown but no issues. Bed was comfy and from what I could see, room was clean and it was quiet.

We brought our dogs with us and they had an area just for them and it was close to our room. The only problem was at check in they still were not able to process my room on American Express, hope I don't get charged twice, but I had a Discover card on me that went through fine. Just a nuisance I would have preferred Amex.

Our room was spacious and clean. All employees were very friendly. The breakfast was fresh with lots of options. The bed was comfortable. The only drawback for our stay was the walls were thin. Our neighbors stayed up to the wee hours with their TV on. We were wakened in the very early hours with someone in a fit of coughing. Otherwise the hotel was great and I would stay there again.

The property was really nice. There is painting and things going on but it is good to see they are maintaining the facility. The young lady at the front desk was very nice but a little overwhelmed with some computer issues. The manager did very little help the poor kid. I know everyone needs to learn but a manager should manage and help when times are busy and tough.

Mariah (staff) was excellent, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the room was excellent. I think I just didn't care for the styrofoam construction debris everywhere outside, and the sketchy half-built low income housing across the parking lot (which the Hampton has no control over)
