Clean hotel, great stay
I stayed on a Wednesday night for a business meeting Thursday morning. The hotel was very nice and updated. It had hardwood/laminate floors instead of carpet, which I thought was awesome!

LA QUINTA INN - STAY
The bed was not comfortable at all. The knob on the tub faucet came off. It was almost impossible to turn the tub faucet to get water on to take a shower and could not get the water to just run as shower, it ran from shower head and the tub faucet at the same time. Both which I reported to front desk only to be told the maintenance man was off that day so nothing was done to fix the problem. It took forever to adjust the water temp at sink faucet to go from scalding hot to a warm/cold temp to use. Also was not aware they did not clean room everyday, so I had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The food was not that great for the continental breakfast. Orange juice machine was broken and the juice made in the pitcher was watered down.

Recent visit
A few things were notable. 1. I had to ask for fresh towels every day because there were no hooks to hang my towels. 2.the breakfast did not include any water to drink 3 the elevator really smelled from the mechanics of it and was dirty 4. The bathroom was dirty 5. I did appreciate the microwave and refrigerator 6. No shampoo was provided..only conditioner 7. It took 10 min for the water to heat up.

We were there 4 days and housekeeping NEVER cleaned our room once during our stay. We had to take our own trash out of the room and I got some towels and wash cloths off of tne housekeeping cart once. One woman was fantastic. I think her name was Charlotte. She worked so hard. Housekeeping would stay in one room for long periods of time talking on their phones. There was no supervision of them. It was terrible.
