Check-in seemed chaotic at the front desk, which was expected for a 3 pm check-in time. Finding the elevator was challenging as it blended in and did not look like a typical elevator. The hotel is old and needs renovations and repairs.
My room had a light switch that didn't control anything. There wasn't a central overhead light, only two small lamps between the beds and a desk lamp. The desk was shaky and unstable. The carpet was sticky, and there were dried pink stains in two places.
The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated, but it didn't have a toilet paper holder. The bathtub didn't have a plug, which was inconvenient. The deadbolt lock on the door didn't work, which I should have checked as soon as I arrived.
I expected more from a place with the Days Inn name.
PS—If you are a fan of breakfast, I recommend skipping the free breakfast, as it was disorganized, and the food and coffee were cleared away by 10:11 a.m.
