We love to come to the Nugget because of the live music, or the DJ, which provide for a fun time at the bar. We can hit the casino for a while then head over to the bar for some dancing and music. We have nto been dissapointed yet in our visits out there from Ogden.

The property/room was so dirty. Our room had no hot water. The shower barely had water at all. Inadcise the front desk. Then remanded them at checkout and they said ohhh okay sorry....

Horrible- Stay Away from this Property!!
What a dive of a property! Old, dark and hasn't seen a remodel in decades (like 3-4!). The mattress should have retired 20 years ago! The room was dark with almost no lighting. Even the "reading" lights over the bed were useless. And worst of all- the charged a $23 "resort" fee! There is no way they can spin this property as being a "resort". When I asked them what the fee was for, the desk person couldn't answer the question. A guy behind the desk said it was for cleaning the room. Seriously? Cleaning the room isn't included in your nightly rate?? Then when I got the the room there was a notice that they don't clean the room every day- just on check out/check in..... Not that there are many good options in West Wendover, but do yourself a favor and stay at a different property. Maybe the Peppermill? it looked ok on the outside, but I have no idea what the rooms are like or if they charge a "resort" fee as well........ One thing is certain- I will never stay at this property again!

Front desk human was rude and then told us the wrong place to park. The room was not the updated rooms advertised but run down with stained carpet throughout and one large gap the entirety of the ceiling where one would hope the wall connects. Orange and black staining throughout the bathroom. In the morning there was a chandelier of light coming through the curtains they had been so moth eaten. The only patrons downtairs were a small bunch of what looked like locals around a poker table and several smoking cigarettes at machines and throwing butts all over the carpet. The worst was the foul sickening perfumed puke smell throughout. I don't mean the old ashtray perfume smell of Vegas, this was in it's own category of wretchedness. Pros: the bed was super comfortable and the atrium was a lovely touch, though with nothing to do there it felt like an under utilized part of the casino. Booked because reviews said this was better than the surrounding, so maybe just avoid West Wendover if that is the case.
