We enjoyed our time here! The kids loved the indoor pool because it was too cold to be outside! They did jump in just to see what it was like! The water indoors was very cold but the kids got used to it quickly. We asked for housekeeping due to floor in bathroom to be cleaned and change our towels. They did change our towels and remade the beds but never cleaned the bathroom floor. The staff was hard to find but when we did they were very nice and helpful! The Inn is on a very busy road but we were able to get out easy enough! As long as you were looking for easy access, not updated , responsibly priced please I would recommend staying here !

The hotel was very clean and all the staff were very nice and friendly. I wish they had 2 chairs for all balconies so my husband and i coitus sit outside together

Generalized clean. The reception desk staff offered choices. Interior lighting not enough, charging outlet is not enough, especially near bed. Inconvenience is no microwave in the room.

Perfectly adequate if you just need somewhere to sleep. The smell in the room wasn't pleasant or fresh. The balcony was nice overlooking the lake. The property needs some serious updates. Think blue bathroom shower and toilet years old.

The hotel was clean. No house cleaning unless requested ahead of time. We asked for extra towels at the front desk. The indoor pool was inaccessible because the lock was broken. The outdoor pool looked nice although we didn’t use it. The rooms were decent size, bathroom was small. Balcony was tight and we got smoke from the people smoking below us. The AC didn’t go below 66 degrees so it was not quite cool enough at night for us. The hallways have a heavy chemical smell due to the indoor pool. Our room had a good view of the marsh.

Perfect for the price!!
For the price on Cape Cod in the summer it’s really hard to beat this place. Indoor and outdoor pools were perfect sized. Great view from the room! Super comfortable beds! The dinner sucks tho, not even kinda worth the money.

The looks well kept; however it shows its age. The room was clean and arranged well. My room and the room my relatives were in had a damp and musty smell. I believe that comes from the AC unit not operating enough to dry the room. I realize that the Cape is a humid place; however, better use of the AC or a dehumidifier in use would improve things. The breakfast meals served at the restaurant were generous and delicious. The home fries were especially tasty. All in all the Tidewater Inn is priced about right for its condition.

I have stayed at this property before and loved it. This time the ice machine by the pool was not working. Also, the towels by the pool were not replenished in a timely fashion on the second day, when I asked for just a few for my guests, I was told we had to wait. So for most of the afternoon, there were no towels for guests. It is a quiet, nice location otherwise.
