Cozy and Rustic "Bear Themed" Cabin~private pond and 7 miles to YNP entrance!

PLEASE READ before inquiring! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins. This cozy cabin is our "Bear Themed" cabin. Located just 7.7 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin is nestled in nature on a private 40+ acres. Owner's residence is conveniently nearby and there are 2 more rental cabins nearby as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. There is also a private pond for fishing. This cabin also makes a great choice for snowmobilers in the winter as main trails are located right out the front of property and we have more than enough space to park your trailers.

The rodeo starts at 7:00pm and is over around 9:00pm. You can buy your tickets online at yellowstonerodeo.com or you can buy them at the gate the night of. Horse trail rides are available, excluding Sundays while the rodeo is in operation. Horse rides sell out quickly so I would suggest booking them in advance at the website listed above.

Perfect Cabin in a Perfect Location

Caleb and Tarah are excellent hosts and will stay there again on our next visit. It was so nice to come "home" from cold weather excursions to our cozy little cabin. The cabin is a perfect distance from West Yellowstone.It is beautifully decorated with cabin charm and has all the home essentials for a 3 - 5 night stay. I loved that the fireplace was always on. The bathroom and bedroom had their own heating vents, which worked wonderfully. We highly recommend staying at he Cozy Cabin.

The cabin is exactly as described - quiet, private and close to the West Yellowstone entrance. It was well laid out and user friendly; immaculate; good kitchen and counter space with all necessary utensils, etc; great selection of on-line tv shows/movies; and convenient parking. Simply Wonderful!

Could not ask for a more perfect stay. The cabin is so cozy, spotless, and in the perfect setting. Horses on the property are so friendly and love being loved on! They greeted us at dusk as we arrived "home" after a long day in the park. Took so many beautiful pictures. Short distance from town of West Yellowstone and west entrance to the park is very convenient. Tarah and Caleb were very responsive and welcome book very helpful with tips on places to eat and things to do if you want to explore the area outside of the park. Please do not leave without meeting this kind and wonderful family. Loved our conversation with them. They really want your stay to be perfect. We are very grateful for the memories made here. Breathtaking Getaway

Absolutely gorgeous location and perfect cabin getaway. Located about 7 minutes west of West Yellowstone, it offers easy access to all of the shops/restaurants/museums, and the Yellowstone West Entrance. Only a 7 minute drive, after the daily fun, to quiet and solitude. We've never slept in such peace and quiet! Also loved visiting with their horses when we would come and go!

A little slice of Heaven

This little cabin was a little slice of Heaven in West Yellowstone, Montana. The location isn’t far from the west gate of Yellowstone NP. The cabin is beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from home. It has all the amenities you will need and the bed is so comfortable. Our teenager slept on the pull out couch which is cozy right next to the gas fireplace. The owners are wonderful. Communication with them was always prompt and thorough. Our family truly enjoyed coming to this lovely cabin after long days exploring Yellowstone. We highly recommend it. Go ahead and book it now :)

Wonderful getaway!

This was the perfect getaway for us! Great location , exactly what we were looking for! Far enough away but still close enough to easily see the park and enjoy West Yellowstone. The host were so nice prior to our visit and answered all our questions. Honestly, a wonderful getaway!
