hotels.com sucks!
This was horrible. Dorty, bed bugs, stains and hotels.com did absolutely nothing to help secure a new room. Apparently, bed bugs is not a relocating issue. I'll never use hotel.com again. Thanks for ruining our trip. Appreciate the servics and taking my money.

While we were there we experienced as musty mold smell it was in the bathroom shower area and I had trouble breathing and even walking down the hallway bothered me! There is a big crack on the wall in hallway! Also we didn't get room service everyday for towels and toilet paper. Had to remind them twice in an hour period of time. Plus we where there for three nights and there was a lot of noise with people slamming doors to their rooms as they were smokers going in and out to much and didn't want to use their door key card instead they just put the bar across the door and then let it slam shut against it as they went outside and down the hall one to many times! Also the toilet was way too small ! More like child size toilet and all they could say was well we are doing some changes to the toilets but not all rooms are done yet. So I'll never stay there again !

Lift up your standards
Let's get into it. As someone who travels extensively, I stay at many hotel chains across the country. I prepaid and checked into my room. As I headed to my room, the smell of mold was noticeable. Once I opened up my room I was greeted by a roach on the wall. The paint job in my room was unprofessional and the toilet was angled away from the shower on a 45-degree angle. No one could sit there comfortably if they tried. It also had water stains rings in the bowl. Unacceptable. To their credit, the front desk tried to make it right by upgrading me to a 2-room suite. After I gathered my things and arrived on the floor of the new room, the smell of mold was more acute than before. I get to my room and thankfully no roaches. The next morning I arose early and headed to the lobby for breakfast. I was too early. They had some prepackaged muffins in the area. I opened up a chocolate muffin and it had white specks of mold on it. Again, unacceptable. The attached restaurant The Hang Out" was under construction or closed with trash and ladders left in the entranceway. Comfort Inn - Pocono Mountains, people pay money to get a good, clean, and comfortable place to stay. They also expect a pest-free environment free of expired, moldy food. Do better - much better

Low Price, Average Quality Stay.
Its a low price stay and our stay was fine. Could use a little more cleaning, a little more repairs, a new shower curtain. Bed was comfortable are pillows were awesome. Door didnt lock one morning but they fixed it. Our stay was as expected, would stay here again if on a budget
