The room was very hard to keep warm and was cold for most of the stay. The overall appearance of the room was dingy. The bartender was horrible. He didn't know how to make an expresso martini and was trying to show off that he could shake the drink mixer hard which was not impressive. The creme brulee that was served was tasteless. Would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and location. Expensive and nothing else is included like coffee or robes. Walls are thin and kind of noisy with traffic. But overall had a great stay. Just really pricey.

This property is ok! The rooms need some TLC especially the upgraded rooms, yes they are larger but absolutely NO furniture. Put some cozy chairs or sofas in them for guests to enjoy the extra space. do not upgrade. Also, our room smelt horrible like someone had smoked in it for years. The lovely lady at the front changed rooms for us however.

This hotel had a very high rating, but Whitefish standards must be kind of low (ESPECIALLY for their room rates). Yes, its a decent hotel, but I would rate it maybe an 8.4 or 8.6. Food options are limited, rooms are nice, clean, but nothing to be thrilled with. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room. Music in the lobby was so loud at check in, it was very difficult to hear the desk clerk. Location is good.

Nice place, but overpriced for a hotel that isn’t really anything special. Hotel bar closes at 10 but the bartender disappears before 10, and on my second night on Memorial Day, the bar wasn’t even open.

If you want to be in a great location, this is a good spot. However, that said, Firebrand needs to work on customer service at check in to check out. The front desk person was so unhelpful and not very friendly; no eye contact and not the typical front desk attendant. Over the phone customer service was good but that did not transfer over to the in house front desk. The hotel room condition was fair and barely acceptable; i.e. carpet was stained and smelled so musty. Linens were not in good shape (tattered and shredded). The bed linens did not smell clean and I did find a foreign material (bed hair) on the sheets. Yuck! One of my pet peeves. We did chose this hotel for its location so that was the most positive part of the experience. Other name brand standard hotels are a bit of a drive to this little ski village, so we made the best of it but would definitely find another option next time.
