The cost, room and location were everything I expected. Great. The issue is that the first night we awoke to find a hotel employee standing inside the room in from of my bed at 7:30am. Why would a maid and/or employee walk into a room without knocking, look at the guest sleeping at 7:30am? My wife is terrified. This needs to be address by upper management.

Stayed the night before new year's eve and had to listen to the family next to us from 10pm until after midnight. Family was loud, and that was very unnecessary. Heard a dog down the hall from our room also. Could not close the main curtain in our room, and you could see plaster on the ceiling in the bathroom and a rusted vent. We were suppose to stay new year's eve for our wedding anniversary but checked out early mainly because of the noise next door.

Staff was nice breakfast was nice. But there was mold in our room on the pictures staff came and took the pictures out. There was a spill of some sort all over the night stand. Overall the mold and cleanliness was the only downside.

Reviews are correct, stay away!
Needed a place to stay for the night, and the rest of the hotels were booked up. Stayed here, hoping that the previous reviews were not accurate, they were. The place looks rough from the outside. The elevator smelled like smoke. The room was nasty. There was pet urine stains in one corner and a bloody q-tip on the carpet. The room is outdated. We were utterly exhausted so we cleaned the best we could and stayed. Do not book here, it's nasty.

The breakfast was a nice spread. Included sausage and biscuits, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles plus pastries cereals and yougurt and fruit. However the waffle station was covered in mix you couldn’t put your plate down for the mess. Tables in dinning room were covered with syrup juice and coffee. The biggest complaint there was a party going on in the hallway and several rooms two nights in a row. Unfortunately the only two nights we stayed there. Besides not being able to sleep it was an average hotel for the money. They did some things well and others a fail like cleaning during breakfast.

Disappointing stay. Room cleanliness was subpar with sticky bathroom floors and wrinkled linens. An extra bed cover was carelessly left on the bed when we first entered the room, making us wonder if these linens were changed? There's an overpowering cleaning product odor everywhere in the hotel mixed with odor of pets and smoke. The facility is outdated and in desperate need of renovation. Cannot recommend until significant improvements are made.

Excellent stay… we liked the cleanliness, staff was very helpful, breakfast has many varieties of food and specially all rooms and furniture was in very good condition seem they have renovated recently… overall very good experience and just 3-4 minutes drive from Busch Garden, would love to stay again next Christmas Eve.

Cleanliness is big issue.
Cleanliness was my biggest concern. There were cleaning carts and supplies sitting in the hallways, lobby area corners, corner of breakfast dining area, basically everywhere. Problem is they didn't move one inch in 3 days, so obviously no one was using them. A prior guest had spilled potato chips on the carpet hallway near our room that remained there our entire stay - obviously no one every vacuumed. Trash cans were almost full - never emptied. Even outside near the entrance there were bags of trash and other debris. Our room was never even minimally cleaned during our stay - remove trash and fresh towels. Not sure there was any HOUSEKEEPING STAFF. Never saw them. Bed linens were old and worn - in retrospect concerned about how clean they were.
