Very comfortable stay for us and our fur baby. Convenient, moderately priced coupled with very accomodating staff. Its a go to for us when we visit family on Long Island .

This is posted as a hotel but it is a Motel. Same price like a hotel. Takes at least 2 hour to commute to Manhattan in public transportation (train and metro). It is not convenience to any of the 2 airports it take about 2 hour to go to the airport.

the water temperature of the shower was hard to regulate--scalding hot or very cold. One night I had to wait a few hours to get any hot water. the towels were not clean, I found a mosquito on one the drain was coming loose and the gluey part was gross with junk adhering to it. dingy rug. the front desk staff at check in are unfriendly but relatively cheap price. it had the atmosphere of the type of motel you see on TV shows where people on the lam hide out

Misleading appearance and condition of this hotel
I did no like this hotel that is more like a motel and the fact that I had to lug my bas up the flight of stairs outside. The condition is poor and desperately needs a renovation. They also need brighter lighting to make travelers feel safe as I as a woman did not feel comfortable with the dim lighting. The photo on your website is misleading as the photo makes it look better than it actually is.

Lobby lacks bathroom, nobody was in office & waited 20 minutes until staff showed up to check us in. Bathroom lacked toiletry amenities. Staff was unfriendly, made us feel as if we were bothering them! Will not stay there again , ever!

This is a Motel
The sure stay best western website is misleading. This is a motel, not a hotel. On the website it states view hotel details. So from the start that was very disappointing. We were supposed to have a hotel! The motel is old and slightly updated. It was clean, but much to be desired. We would have left if it wasn’t clean. We stayed because we were here for a wedding and it was 2 blocks away! Would not return.
