Just across the street, children can splash in the gentle waters of a private beach that emerges at low tide, while adults enjoy the serenity of the lush garden by the shore. A short walk across South Lumina provides easy access to the ocean, ensuring the best of both worlds.

This beloved cottage seamlessly blends vintage character with modern comforts. The main level features a cozy yet functional kitchen, an inviting living and dining area, and a charming bedroom with a twin bed. Multiple sets of French doors and windows allow the fresh ocean breeze to sweep through the home, just like in the old days. The expansive shaded porch is the heart of the cottage—perfect for unwinding in a rocking chair while enjoying the coastal air. A unique feature of this home is the full bathroom located on the porch, adding a rustic and relaxing touch to your stay.

Upstairs, three additional bedrooms provide plenty of space for family and friends. The first guest room offers a full and twin bed, while the two remaining bedrooms each feature two twin beds and their own private sinks—an authentic nod to the home’s history. A shared half bathroom with a charming clawfoot tub adds to the vintage appeal.

Though the cottage’s cross breeze keeps it wonderfully comfortable, modern amenities like central heat and air, as well as ceiling fans throughout, ensure year-round comfort. However, the home is winterized and unavailable for rent from December through April.

Pet Policy: Pet Policy: Dogs welcome as an optional add-on for this property with a non-refundable fee of $250 + tax that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation. Charge will be added after booking when the option to bring a pet and number of pets are selected. Nonrefundable fees are listed in the House Rules and animals must be disclosed via the Rental Agreement. Fees are not included automatically when booking on VRBO and must be paid separately to the host if you wish to bring a pet(s). Failure to disclose and prepay for dogs will result in penalty fees which are disclosed in House Rule #16.

Prohibited: Smoking, Use of Grills, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
