Cannot recommend this place enough. Great stay. We had bull elk and female elk right there at the property during our stay. They roam the property and made our experience so much better. Restaurant had a lot of options. Food was delicious. Breakfast was great
We knew it would be small when we booked the cabin, but we had to use one of the beds for luggage and belongings. We requested daily housekeeping, but didn’t get it any of the three days we were there. The room was very dusty. I wish we had spent the extra money to stay in the hotel.
There was no bathroom in rooms. I wasn't aware of this. Middle of the night walks to get to a bathroom.
LOVED the elks in the parking lot in the morning!!! One of my highlights!!!!
Stayed in an adorable little cabin with a bathroom sink. It was warm and cozy. It was a quick walk to the bathrooms and showers. Mostly quiet and enjoyed the map room with coffee in the mornings.
Mammoth was like a walk back in time, the old music playing in the glorious map room, the art work, pictures of the place from days gone by. The rooms were beautiful, big wide hallways and grand staircase. Bathrooms were so cool with the chrome hardware and ball and claw tub with black and white tile floors. Heard the elk bugling in the evening and walking around during the day..great stay. Hope to come back one day.
Cabin was very cute, clean, and quiet with a front porch. Walkable to many of the springs areas and close to dining options. No wifi at the cabin,
but you can get wifi in the main hotel lobby which has lots of seating areas. Shared bathrooms were not fancy, but clean with private shower stalls and only a short walk from the cabin.
It had a roof and running water yet again so does Ethiopia.
Cabin was not on level ground felt drunk walking around.
Stinking rubbish bin left inside the room.
When we booked it said “No Bath” to us that means no bathtub but no it means no actual bathroom in the cabin.
Have to use the communal shower block and toilet. Felt like you were at a school camp. Uneven ground gravel path to said communal shower.
WIFI did not reach the cabins.
The front of the hotel was spectacular until you see the slums at the back.
Would not stay here again.
We stayed in one of the Mammoth Cabins and it was clean and better yet-has a porch with chairs and a little table. We sat outside at night and listened to the elks bugling and watched the Aurora Borealis dance across the Big Sky.
