Beautiful place
Beautiful hotel and venue. Attended for a wedding and the venue was simply beautiful. The rooms were very clean, beautiful and extremely comfortable. The added bonus is the use of the changing Rooms (complete with showers) that you can use to change prior to the wedding.

Great setting, good hotel.
Great setting, just outside York. Very peaceful setting with golf course next door. Rooms were cosy and modern. Option of renting films through smart TV. Breakfast food with large buffet selection. Can order extras like porridge and omelette but weren't informed of this. Only saw it because it was listed on the hotel website menu. I did get a lot of emails from them through my hotels.com account including marketing ones not directly linked to my stay. We were asked if we were there for an event and they would make the start special. I did reply yes, as we were for a friends wedding. I couldn't see any impact of this though.

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay for one night, friendly staff and a very tasty evening meal. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of choice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable:)

Very enjoyable couple of nights in comfort at Sand
Easily found off the A64, the hotel is lovely and the staff are all super helpful. The reception area is spacious and welcoming; the rooms are well appointed and comfortable with patios for those on the ground floor.

The room was very nice, Its a shame I was only there for one night. Breakfast could have had a bit more variety but was sufficient for me. A very pleasant experience and stay. I did dine at the attached restaurant for my evening meal but found it rather expensive.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay hotel was very modern and the facilities and staff were attentive. However on our last night we had a broken night due to a wedding party who were noisy and vulgar adjacent to our room. We had to complain about the noise which went on to 3.30am. We were given a refund for our last night but always check if a wedding party is staying as there is a risk as in our case of a noisy crowd ruining what was a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my husband's birthday as he is a keen golfer. The hotel is beauful and the rooms are lovley, clean with beautiful bathrooms. We ate both nights in the Tykes restaurant where the food was unreal. Every single staff member we spoke to were polite, helpful and very effiecient. Big thank you to Alice in the restaurant for looking after us in both night. She is a credit to your team. Another plus side is they are so dog friendly! Highly recommend.
