Absolute worst hotel stay ever!
We could not check in because none of the card readers worked, and the staff didn’t have a way to take down our credit card for incidentals. The staff asked repeatedly if we maxed out all 3 of our credit cards and debit card because it couldn’t be the hotel’s problem. We said no. Then he asked if all 3 of our banks blocked the cards. He didn’t stop blaming us until the next customer came and the hotel card readers also couldn’t read her card. We stood for over 30 minutes while he made phone calls to figure out how to check people in. He became frustrated and dropped the f-bomb! Then we had to write down our credit card on a piece of paper to get the room keys. Once we finally got to the room, the key did not work, so we had to walk all the way back to front desk, at the other side of the building. After 9pm, once we were settled in bed, people started rattling on the door handle to try to get in because the hotel had double booked the room. At every turn, different hotel staff made it seem like it was our fault and not theirs. Even at check out, no one took responsibility. We were told to stand aside while they figured out how to address the problems. Never stay here!

Beautiful grounds, great lobby, the rooms could use a little attention. Mattresses too soft but otherwise a good pick. I would rebook here because the problems were not major.

Cute Hotel overall. However for the price I was a bit disappointed as the pool wasn’t working or hot tub the 2 restaurants inside were closed by 8pm on a Friday nite, and the entertainment was cancelled.

Upon arrival at the property we were not told that the pool and hot tub was closed to guests(mechanical issue) along with the library (not sure of the hours). In our room there was no microwave provided. We also noticed what appeared to be black mold on the bathroom ceiling. And the "patio" was littered with debris and beer cans. Not withstanding that there was no breakfast provided! Other than a decent bed I'm not sure what my $180 paid for? Highly disappointed.

Beautiful property. The main garden area was majestic and so peaceful. Nice sized bathroom with huge tub. King sized bed and sitting area were nice as well. Small balcony with table and two chairs is perfect for your morning coffee. My only complaint would be it didn’t have a microwave which would have come in handy reheating leftovers. Overall a wonderful place. Will definitely book again if the need arises.

Was surprised to find this was the most affordable listing in the area yet the rooms were very nice (2 king beds couch area) and clean. The grounds of the hotel included an indoor pool with a large openable wall on one side that makes it feel more open to outside. The hotel wraps around in a circle with a large exterior courtyard in the middle with a big pond with ponds and little waterfalls between them, ducks hanging out, gazebos. I saw a kid fishing in the pond. The lobby has a bar and several different lounging areas. Fridge in the room and outside access. We were on the first floor so we could actually come and go through the sliding door. We were in the area to see the Octagon earthworks which were about a 5 minute drive away. Also many good dining options nearby in Granville.
