We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Although, much like most European boutique hotels, it didn't have AC, the windows opened so it never felt too hot or stuffy despite the upper 70s - low 80s F temperatures outside. The staff was wonderful. I really can't say enough good things. The only hiccup we had, which really isn't the hotel's fault since they use a private comany, is that we paid €18/day each (3 people) to rent bikes and got 1km from the hotel to have the bike tire go flat. We went back to get another bike and the same thing happened again. After the 2nd time no one wanted to ride bikes anymore so it was a huge waste of €54.

Hi , been staying for 2 days at this hotel in the basement where it was mould on the corners of the room and very poor vent . Then on arrival we have been told about a tourist fee of 32€ that haven’t been advertised on the room plus we had to leave a 100€ deposit return on the check out . Room was in the basements under the main entrance where from 6 o clock in the morning was everyone up and down and you could hear all the noise

Not for folks who have trouble with stairs
Wonderful hot breakfast buffet. However, there are no elevators and steps are very steep and very narrow. You may have to walk up to the 5th floor. As long as you’re ok with lots of steps, it’s in a quiet area within 10 minute walk of museums, bus stops, and tram. 10 minutes from the Albert Cuypmarkt for fresh stroopwafels.

Perfect for solo traveler
This hotel was a great place for the location. Its very close to the museums, but also a nice walk into the older area of town. the room was small, but comfortable and perfect for a solo traveler. the breakfast was simple, but nice. staff also very friendly.
