The hotel is beautiful and very convenient. The staff at the executive lounge were amazing. Definitely worth paying for executive lounge access. An oasis in the middle of Saigon.

Really nice building and rooms were pretty good. Really nice place to stay if you're flying in late or have a flight the next day. Plus theres a starbucks in the lobby too!

Service was excellent, will give six stars if there is an option. Dad had diarrhoea and somehow the staff remembered and cared. Experience was spoiled by rowdy neighbours, but fret not, esteemed friends at the hotel were very apologetic and allocated an alternative room, only after ensuring that it was quieter. Definitely will come back again

All the staff at the Grand Hotel Saigon were unfailingly helpful, efficient and pleasant during our stay. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the rooftop bar and restaurant (Tip: Ask for the Vietnamese menu if you want to eat Vietnamese food. There is a separate menu for those wanting western food). We had a very comfortable, clean room on the 8th floor of the “Ancient” wing. There is a luxury wing but I have no read out on that. As we are ourselves a bit ancient, the "Ancient" Wing seemed quite appropriate! Lol! Breakfast in the Saigon Palace each morning is a joy with a fine buffet of both broader Asian and Western foods. However, do not miss out on the noddle and egg station for a breakfast pho or sensational omelettes, and eggs of any style. Notably, it is also the source for proper crispy streaky bacon! Yum! The hotel is situated well in the centre of District 1 and there is much within easy walking distance. This is a great hotel to be welcomed into Vietnam on arrival or as a comfortable farewell.

It has a beautiful grand lobby where you can sit down, relax, and order refreshments. It also has a beautiful sitting area outside in the back, and also has a big round swimming pool where you can do light swimming or dipping in, not deep. You can lounge around the pool and order some food and drinks. It has nice & clean rooms, river view is perfect. It has really nice facility overall, and nice bathroom amenities such as warm toilette seat, soap, shampoo and lotions by Grown Alchemist. The staff support and greeting is excellent, warm and welcome. It is by the Bach Dang river, so a bit outside of the city center, about 10 minutes to the center. It deserves high ratings. During our stay it has some wedding events organized way in the beautiful area in the back on its own, nice to see and not interfering in anyway.
