The staff was very pleasant but we could not stay there.... the cigarette smoke smell in our "non-smoking" room was unbearable. It looked reasonably clean but the odor was unmistakable so we requested a refund and went on our way.

This was probably the best Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at. Very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We were in a room that faced the swimming pool so we didn’t get any highway noise. AC worked great, even had to turn the temp up! Lots of food options nearby. The people who manage/own the motel have wonderful gardens and obviously take care of this location. Great for dogs!

Wonderful property!
I actually wanted to meet the owner of this property as it was one f the best maintained budget motels I have ever stayed in. The grounds were lush and beautiful including a garden on the property! What a wonderful idea! Beautiful fruit trees on the property, as well!!

Let’s start with the pros: working air conditioning on a very hot day and pretty comfy beds. Cons: it’s like sleeping in the freeway. SO noisy. TV did not work, coffee not available until 6 am but no way to make in room. Bath tub fixture pulled out of the wall when we tried to turn it on. Keep driving a little further you won’t regret it.

Absolutely ridiculous. Our check in was done through a window as doors were locked. They pointed ti the window and just sat there looking at us. You get people working ( don’t actually know but not much older than 18). Not a typical check in. Now the room- room was okay for the most part. We did get charged more than what it was advertised but whatever. We had a later check in so we only spent about 4 hours in our room. Got up ti shower- no shampoo. No conditioner just one bar of soap. Go to call the front desk- the phones not working. Broken. Had to call the main line and then waited to be told “we don’t provide shampoo and conditioner. You can purchase it at extra cost at $2 per bottle”. No thanks. I can almost buy a full bottle for that price. Used the soap for hair - by the way don’t ever doo that- got out of the shower to dry the hair- NO HAIR DRIER EITHER! to check out at 6 am still had to use the same window and deal with same in interested people who worry more about the phone than customer service! On a new note: this is first Morel 6 I ran into these issues with. The one we stayed at prior had shampoo conditioner hair drier, coffee pot and coffee and tea. Note to the cleaning staff: leave face towels and towels elsewhere. Placing them directly over the toilet and expecting people to use them on the face and body knowing how far up the water and germs travel - it’s not nice. Again - the other motel 6 had it stored in a little cabinet. Would not stay here again.

The inside of the room was filthy. Dirt caked on the legs of the rolling chair, black marks, fingerprints on the inside of the bathroom door, flies everywhere. Trash overflowing from the bin outside the room. The safety latch on the door was broken off. The plumbing fixtures were loose in both the bathtub and the sink. Drywall above the sink area was water damaged. Water was dangerously hot out of the taps.
