Clean hotel with good breakfast. Cleaning staff did a great job. However various maintenance problems went unattended. During our five day stay, one of the two elevators was broken during the whole time. No attempt was made to fix it. The TV in our room never worked, despite several requests to the front desk. They did offer to switch our room. Also, water stains on the bathroom ceiling.

At 11pm we were already in Bed and a staff tried to open our door and knocked to see if we are in. Then asked our name, female voice, and told us that they changed our room. We told them we wanted to just stay in same room, called the front desk to see what’s happening. It’s so wrong to just try to open the door before notifying us by calling. Then at 5:35am, someone banged the door and awoke us. It’s really a horrifying experience. We hear stories about tourists getting robbed at hotel rooms and we thought it could be it. We were so scared thru the night because we didn’t open the door, didn’t see who was standing there, even the front desk told us it was one of their staffs, how do we know for sure? I couldn’t relax thru the night. Slept poorly. In the morning, our room key didn’t work. They changed the code? It just didn’t work. The room wasn’t maintained. Some hooks and towel bar were not attached right, a soap bar was opened used and it had a hair on it before we arrived. Bathroom ceiling had some bubbled parts. The bed was old and slanted down towards side table. We’ll never stay there again.
