Location was great Hotel rooms spacious but not very clean Breakfast was rather underwhelming, quality of food was rather disappointing Had a cocktail on the rooftop btt it was a challenge to get a seat even as a hotel guest and the venue 2/3’s empty. Just an ok stay.

We loved the location - easy walk to old city centre and to the night market. Concierge was very helpful in arranging a private tour for while we were in town which was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay again!

The Intercontinental was a great stay while we were in Chiang Mai. The room was nothing but exquisite. The location was in a great location, but it didn’t look safe (I’m sure it would be) but a great location for the Night Market as well as the proximity to the many many temples in the Old City. A definite must stay for those coming to Chiang Mai and if it fits your budget.
