This magnificent, newly renovated flat is located right in the pedestrian section in the heart of the famous Royal Mile and only 5 minutes walk from Waverley Station and 5 minutes walk from IEdinburgh Castle. The property boasts two large double bedrooms with high spec, extremely cosy, comfortable King Size beds that are guaranteed to provide a good night's sleep prior to commencing your adventures. The flat has fine quality linens and towels supplied. It also has a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom to ensure a luxurious stay. It is very important for guests to note that the bedrooms are located to the rear of the building where it is extremely quiet despite the flat's highly desirable city centre location. The living room is located overlooking the bustling Royal Mile where you will never tire of sitting in the window seat watching the activity below you. The flat is fully furnished and fully equipped with washer drier, oven and hob, microwave etc. Lots of pubs, bars and restaurants right outside ! Great Place, few FYI’s

The overall stay was great. The location was fabulous. A few notes, if you run out of toilet tissue, you will be responsible to get your own. The washer/dryer is a bit confusing to figure out and the host can’t assist. The stairs up to the room is tight and several flights. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Loved the location!

Vibrant City.

Great location. Fully up to our expectations. Cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy reach. Supermarkets 6/7 minutes walk away. Lively street activity. Flat very clean and simply but comfortably furnished. Bedrooms at rear of building so very quiet at night. Beds very comfortable. Windows all open easily. Flat near top of building so elderly or infirm people may find access via spiral staircase a bit daunting. I would happily book this place again.

Central location

This was a very central location. Good because you can walk to most everything. Bad because it’s loud. Bagpipes playing outside front window all day long and loud drunks roaming the streets late at night. Luckily you don’t hear much noise from the bedrooms in the back. Must walk up 4 flights up narrow spiral staircase to get to the apartment. No information in apartment on how to change thermostat setting, turn on tv, etc. We got check in instructions for lockbox but there were about 6 boxes on the wall and no idea which one to open. Ended up putting code into all of them and finally got the keys on the last try. Cleaner was there buzzing us right at 10am to check out. Unit was clean and worked fine for our stay.

Amazing Location

We had a fabulous time the apartment was clean, fresh and well equipped and so comfortable. Only 1 minor issue that there was only one wine glass between 4 people which was not ideal and the only alternative was a plastic tumbler, not quite what we were looking for, real shame really.

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh

This is a lovely apartment on and overlooking the Royal Mile, but the bedrooms are at the back so not disturbed by noise. There is a good sized lounge area and a breakfast bar seating area. The location could not be better. It is worth noting, however, that the access is via several spiral stairs.

Great location but wish we had known about the steep stairs to the unit. Challenging getting suitcases up those stairs. Would be helpful to have some instructions about the radiators, buzzer, etc. Comfortable beds and seating in living room

Excellent Location.

The location is perfect but the spiral stairs are brutal with suitcases. Not mentioned in the listing but we saw reviews that mentioned it. We are in our 60's and 70's and it was very difficult hauling our bags. Because of this, I wouldn't suggest this place for older people. But the location is perfect and we were able to see a parade for the King out of our window. That was exciting.

Great stay on the Royal Mile

What a brilliant location! We loved our short stay here. Warm, comfortable and immersed in the atmosphere of the Royal Mile. The bedrooms were quiet and peaceful and the beds were very comfortable. The only downside are the stairs to get up into the apartment. If you are fit, they would not be a problem but the stairs are steep and narrow and it's 3 flights up.

Great Location

Location was awesome...right on the royal mile Maybe this was in the description but we did not see it...flat is on the 4th floor so had to walk up 4 flights of revolving staircase with heavy luggage...that was a surprise. Flat was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom was fine...only downfall...place smelled like smoke so we had to keep windows open the entire time...could not connect to internet either...

Amazing Location

This apartment was perfect for us. It's very walkable to just about everything we wanted to see and cozy when we wanted to rest on a cold, rainy evening. Pros: Clean, spacious, very central location, easy to stop in between sights/shopping/eating, good heating, good price. Cons: Narrow circular staircase without the best handrail, small shower if you're very tall or broad-shouldered, can be noisy (but that's the price of being in a central location). We would stay in this place again if we came back!

Really easy check in and short walk from Waverley train station. Lovely view looking down on the royal mile and great spacious apartment with range of utilities. Heads up there's a few flights of stairs to get to the apartment.

Adorable and perfectly located flat

The flat was a perfect size for our family of 4. We loved the location right above the Royal Mile. The windows opened easily which was nice for viewing and hearing the activities below- including sounds of bagpipes. The bedrooms were nice and quiet though because they're located on the backside. It was clean and had modern facilities. The climb up is the only difficult part but it helped burn off the calories from all the good eats nearby! Overall very nice and would highly recommend!!

Fabulous Edinburgh Apartment

Just back from a two day trip to Edinburgh to see Hamilton at the Festival Theatre, run Holyrood Parkrun and visit the Scottish parliament, and what a fantastic weekend we had! The apartment is in a perfect location for everything and is also super bright and spacious and very well equipped. It was very clean and tidy, had lovely towels, plenty of storage for our clothes and a really decent kitchen for a short stay. Accessing the flat was easy. The stairs, although spiraling up 3 floors, were also much more easily negotiated than other similar Edinburgh apartments we have previously stayed in. Bedrooms are to the back so away from the street noise and a good night's sleep was enjoyed after each busy day. Would book again next time we visit the Capital.

Very nice flat with great location

Flat was fairly clean. I'm a clean freak so not 100% to my standards, but pretty good. The flat is fourth floor with a spiral staircase and I wasn't sure about this. I'm a 53 year old fat lady with a bad knee, and I made it just fine. I had to rest on the way up, but made it without too much trouble. Carrying luggage, it's a lot. The flat is comfortable with most of the conveniences of home. Lots of helpful travel books and brochure. Location couldn't be better being about half way of the Royal Mile.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay here. It was right in the center of everything , very walkable to everything. It was comfortable and clean. The host was very responsive. It is on the 4th floor and the steps are small and spiral but it wasn’t a big deal to us, it was fine. We loved it. I highly recommend staying here if your in Edinburgh.

This was a very comfortable place to stay, right on the Royal Mile. The bed was nice and firm, living room couches were nice, bathroom equipped with amenities. The host was quick to respond to a minor problem that was fixed in minutes. There is quite a bit of stairs getting up to the flat, but doable even with luggage. Was nice to look out the windows and see what's happening on the street below. I'd stay here again if and when I'm back in Edinburgh

Nice, but would not book it again due to stairs

Great unit in excellent location. It would have been fine if we were just weekend travelers with small luggage or backpack. We'd been traveling for 15+ days with medium size suitcases and backpacks which made it extremely difficult to climb 4 flights of a spiraling staircase. But for that, its a great place to stay.

Location on the MILE

This property was perfect for those who want to stay as central to EVERYTHING in Edinburgh. Easy to explore the city when your flat is a stone's throw away from all the excitement! Surprisingly quiet for being so close to the action. Very well kept and comfortable. The location of the entry is a little tricky, but we had some nice people help point us in the right direction. Only word of warning is getting up to the flat - spiral stairs up about 4 floors. Its a little tricky if you have heavy bags.... however its WORTH IT. Had an amazing time - would highly recommend.
