You are looking for a quiet and lovely furnished vacation rental with outstanding canal view boat dock and Gulf access, situated in SW Cape Coral?
You have found it - welcome to the 'Lazy Pelican'!
You'll find a perfect place, newly renovated and equipped, located at a saltwater canal intersection and close to the beach and the Marina of Cape Coral and to many restaurants and bars on and around the Cape Coral Parkway - this home has everything to enjoy life under the Florida sun.
A lot of space with 3 bedrooms (two of them with kingsize beds), 2 bathrooms and split floor plan with generous living and dining areas make your vacation nearly wantless, with all the amenities you have at your own home, but with the big advantage of Florida's sunshine.
In the Family Room you'll find a 55' 4K LED TV for your entertainment. Master and the second bedroom has king size beds and LCD TV´s. Third bedroom is a twin room.
The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast nook.
The large poolarea welcomes you with a large electric heated pool, nice sunbeds, adirondeckchairs, and a big gas grill for making big steaks.
The fenced backyard include a variety of palm trees, orange and avocado trees. There are also a dock and a boat rental can be arranged and delivered dockside.
For your convenience, there are numerous restaurants and shops close to the house. As well as the small but beautiful and family-friendly beach of Cape Coral.

The driveway and entrance area in front of the house are monitored by a camera within approximately 30 feet for security purposes only.
This camera is located on the power pole in front of the house. Areas where guests can expect reasonable privacy are not monitored. Great place to stay in Cape Coral!
great shape. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you’d need to cook and grill. The grocery store is .5 miles from the house with lots of great restaurants nearby. We used the home as a great base for day trips and enjoyed the room to spread out and recover from the Florida heat. The swimming pool was a great bonus for lazy afternoons at home. We would love to visit again.

A Little Piece of Heaven!!
We had an absolutely lovely and restful time at the Lazy Pelican!!! Everything was exactly as stated on the listing. The decor was beachy and furniture very comfy!!! Location was perfect and central to everything!!! Great restaurants, beaches, and day trip options!!! Had a wonderful time on Sanibel Island!! Glad to see the continued recovery from the hurricane!! Will look forward to returning in the future!!!

Location was wonderful. We were close to restaurants and shopping as well as having a short easy drive to Ft. Myers to visit friends. We had 3 additional family members stay with us for a 4 day weekend and they were easily accommodated.

Wonderful Canal Front Home.
Great home with a pool on intersecting canals. Check in was perfect and easy. The owners and the property manager were great to work with and I was even able to check in a day early when my schedule changed. House has everything you need and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. The grill outside was also a bonus. I was gone a lot during the day but enjoyed sitting by the pool at night and doing some fishing on the dock. I caught some very large fish right next to the dock. The view was great and it was very quiet outside. Thanks again for the great stay. It was a great home for me to explore the Cape Coral Area Michael

This is a nice VRBO property
This property was well equipped and furnished. We never saw the manager when we arrived or when we left, despite what the instructions said in the literature at the house. We were a little worried about the rules regarding electricity use, so we took a photo of the electric meter on arrival and departure. The house had not been cleaned when we arrived, but a call to the manager took care of that and it was completed while we went to dinner. It was nice to have access to half of the garage for the car. The kitchen was very well equipped compared to the many VRBO's we stayed at, and there were plenty of towels, etc. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Pelican Paradise
This was the perfect house for a one month stay. The location was great. Very close to the best part of town - best restaurants/farmer's markets, and the bridge to Ft Myers and Sanibel Island. The house was sparkling clean and had every possible amenity you could want. We loved sitting by the pool in the morning and watching the sun rise over the beautiful canal. We are big bike riders and the house is close to many bike paths, and we loved all the burrowing owl nests close by. The house is beautifully decorated and Hartmut and Sandra were so easy to work with and very flexible (we had to change our dates twice). We stayed here while we were rebuilding our own home on Sanibel Island that was decimated by Ian, and it was such a pleasure to come back to this comfortable house at the end of each day. We didn't get to use the pool as we were too busy, but it was heated and sparkling clean and looks out over the canal. Thank you Hartmut and Sandra (and Siggy) for a perfect stay.

Lazy Pelican retreat
This was a Great house in a very convenient, yet quiet location. The house was spotless and check-in could not have been easier. We made an afternoon trip to Sanibel and Captiva, which was also beautiful! We would definitely stay there again!

Paradise Awaits
Upon entering the Lazy Pelican you can feel the cleanliness of the home. The house and property were exactly as described. The pool was amazing, especially because you can swim with a view of the intersecting canals. We stayed for 5 days and we did NOT want to come back home. Relaxation, rest, and rejuvenation. Great location.

July 4th
The property was well maintained and clean when we arrived. The house accommodated my family of four well. Each child had their own room and they were able to also have a bathroom for themselves. The master suite was spacious and had a nice shower and double vanity. All of the kitchen appliances worked well and the kitchen had everything we would need to prepare a meal. The pool was clean and very enjoyable. The location was close to a grocery store and many eating establishments. It was also only about 30 minutes to Fort Myers Beach.

Amazing...
From the moment we entered your house it felt like home and so relaxing. The beds we very comfortable. We appreciated the owners quick and thorough responses prior to coming as well. The manager was quick to help us when needed and smooth check in and out process. It was a nice and quiet neighborhood, beautiful house inside and out. Fishing on dock was fun, all the kitchen supplies and towels needed were supplied. Stores like Publix and CVS nearby for essentials and food. The local beach and Boathouse bar a d restaurant nearby was great for the sunset. The Boathouse also was able to accommodate our daughter with peanut and tree nut allergies as well as Jets pizza:) It was great that Fort Myers Beach was only 40 minute drive for us. We drove to Matlashe for a day of fun shopping and Saturday enjoyed the Market in town. Our kids, who are 10 and 13, enjoyed endless hours playing in the pool. There were beach chairs and coolers available and a boogie board at the time. Plenty of pool rafts too. Thank you for such a great stay at your home. We hope to go back! We didn't want to leave!

Excellent vacation
The property Is in a great location to shopping and downtown Cape Coral. Easy check-in. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The tv worked great and had a variety of channels to watch. The pool area is nice and has a wonderful view of the intersection of the two canals. The only negative I have is there should be a door between the master bedroom and master bathroom, not a curtain. Had a great stay, would definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the house had all the things you need. We loved the location. We rented a boat and explored the surrounding islands. The house was perfect for two couples with two children. It was comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the lanai area fro relaxing and having dinner.

Nice neighborhood for early morning walks. The house was very nice. The beds were very comfy. Pool was clean. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Beaches, golf, and other attractions were at least hour away due to traffic. Need a car. Enjoyed the stay.

Check in process was very smooth. Received the key code and everything went smoothly. The house was accurately depicted and described. The Internet speed was more than sufficient (we were working remotely). We highly recommend this to a small family or or 1-2 couples that are looking to escape to Sunny Cape Coral.
