It was excellent value for money The room was just a little bit small but very comfortable and clean The bathroom and shower were spacious All public areas were clean and bright The hotel had average dining options - typical of a business hotel As a female travelling alone, I felt very safe, however I don't know if I would walk around outside after dark on my own

Arrived at Thistle hotel by using the pods from T5, this is a brilliant way to travel and so simple, check in at the hotel was simple, receptionist very friendly and explained everything, there is no lift in this hotel but we were on first floor just be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs, we were offered help with our bags if we needed. Standard double room, kettle, standard size mugs, adjustable heater, bed could have done with a kingsize duvet rather than a double as not much hangs over sides, two comfy pillows and mattress was firm, Breakfast following morning was very good, choice of hot buffet or cold, very nice. Using the pod system to and from T5 costs £8 each payable to the hotel, this gives you a gate code and access either way. The pods take just 5 minutes to and from t5 so perfect, sign posts telling you were they are. Overall this is a hotel worth staying at for T5 for the location and ease of getting there.

This is one of those big chain airport hotel that you absolutely wouldn't expect a personal experience but omg the service was amazing from reception to bar and we asked about an upgrade because of our daughter's bday. What a lovely surprise when we enter the room and it was all decorated with banners and balloons. Just wanted to say a big thank you for making our stay so special!

The staff was polite and accommodating. The proptery is easily accessible and the rooms were clean.

Location, location, location

Excellent check in service, Daniel from the Front Desk does make everything possible to make the guests great. The Executive rooms a very nice and spacious and well equipped. The restaurant food is excellent as well. Can definitely recommend the hotel.
