Great spot for your family.
This was a tough one, absolutely loved the hotel amd the hot springs. Had some issues with our AC. They did move us to a new room, but it took 14 hours. They were very nice and helpful. Despite other reviews i dont feel its outdated, i felt it exceeded its price point. The other big concern we read about is the walk if at the top. Except for night one when there was a huge storm we really had no issue. Our first room had a balcony amd patio amd we saw wildlife everyday off both. We will definetly be coming back.

Beautifully maintained tropical grounds. Enjoyed the hot spring pools and swim up bar. Took advantage of zip lining on property and had an amazing experience with our four patient guides.They were professional, courteous and understanding about a nervous first timer. Our first time in Costa Rica - with our 15 year old son- and what a great place to start. Los Lagos exceeded our expectations: the staff was super friendly and helpful, the many pools were amazing, the breakfast was delicious each morning with an array of fresh fruit, healthy options and cooked options ( try the Guava bread!). Highlights included the water slide which our son went down at least 25x! The pools were so much fun both in the day but especially the warm/hot pools in the evening - with or without a drink from the swim up bar. The landscaping is beautiful with a variety of plants & the animals we saw walking around the property made it exciting. The rooms are super clean and well maintained if a little tired. Oh, and do the Night Walk that you can book through the hotel! It was fantastic and we loved it. A special shout out to Jason at the front desk who helped us when our transportation didn't come on time - he went above and beyond to ensure we got to the walk. Overall, the fun factor plus the amazing staff made Los Lagos a 5/5. Highly recommended.

Beautiful resort to stay in Costa Rica!
Excellent service from all the staff! We requested a superior room close to restaurant and it was granted! No need to take shuttle so pls request room 406- superior room. Great food in the restaurant and pool bar. Excellent thermal hot springs and the scenery very pretty! Highly recommend this resort!

Nice hotel
We had a great time there at Los Lagos. The first night they seem to have huge groups of late teens/young adults which made it impossible to get anything at the bar. However, my kids enjoyed the many pools and the water slide. They did wish there were more slides then just the one longer one that they could enjoy. The room was clean and maid service was attentive. The breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed also the spa and had a couple relaxing treatments there. Overall nice stay.
