The Mistress is located amongst heritage-listed properties within walking distance to the Launceston CBD, Launceston City Park, University of Tasmania's Inveresk precinct, UTAS Stadium, the Launceston Aquatic Centre and the East Launceston Cafe precinct.

On Saturday mornings you can enjoy a short walk to the Harvest Launceston Community Farmers Market and purchase fresh local produce direct from the growers. a stylish experience at this centrally located place.

The Mistress certainly stands apart from the other humble duplex cottages in her cottage row. She has been fully renovated in a modern aesthetic whilst still giving a big nod to her heritage charm.

Adjoining the open plan kitchen/living and dining area are two bedrooms, butlers pantry, laundry and bathroom. The second bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom.

Located upstairs is the loft bedroom with a small lounge area and a quiet workspace.

A small fully secured courtyard and the garden is available for those wishing to take in our Tasmanian fresh air.

The entire home is available to you during your stay.

We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay.

We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests.

Please please let me know as soon as you can if there are any issues at all so I have a chance to take the appropriate action to ensure your stay is it should be - totally stress-free and relaxing!!

I'm not always able to personally check the house before your arrival - I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore I have been let down in any way by the presentation of The Mistress.

Please treat my neighbours with respect by keeping noise to a minimum and within acceptable levels.

Kindly observe the 10 am check-out time so our cleaners have enough time to thoroughly and safely prepare the space for the next guest in line with Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning standards.

Please leave the home neat & tidy. We may need to charge guests for additional housekeeping time if our team is required to stay longer.

If smoking occurs on the property, we will have to charge guests to have the furnishings and carpet deodorised.

Please try not to misplace keys or fobs; any replacement fees will need to be passed onto our guests.
