So this was my first time at Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel. Overall, I have to say that it was a pretty good stay: the ac was chilly, the restaurant served up some yummy fare, and beds were comfortable. The staff was also very friendly, but I will say that a few members of the staff did struggle with English from time to time.

Overall, the stay was pleasant. The rooms were large and spacious, and while the furniture and bathroom were a bit old, they were clean. Room service came daily, and the balcony was large and a relaxing place to enjoy the view of the pool and the flower-filled trees. The staff was very respectful, and the breakfast was very good and varied, though I found hair on two occasions. Other than that, there was nothing to complain about. The hotel is located behind the main street, away from the traffic noise. We will definitely come back.

The staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. We stayed at 14 roses boutique and it was incredible but this place should be called 14 wilted roses. Not even comparable. Do not recommend.

Some staff poor English mould in shower I don’t think they mopped the floors in our 3weeks. People around pool till 4 am security nil : restaurant not serving drinks only beer no juices: love Bali

We were under the impression that we were booking Fourteen roses boutique hotel not realising that there was another hotel near the beach. The bathroom was dirty and the wash basin looked like not been cleaned at all for a long time. The towels were outdated and looked dirty. The shower was slippery with wood on the floor and the hot water not hot .

Honest review. Stayed here because of the reviews, but we were disappointed. The pool is beautiful, but not many sunbeds. This wasn’t too bad, usually people only stayed for a short time so we would wait. The balcony in the room was amazing, overlooking the pool. The room is very dated and the bathroom needs to be done. The shower pressure is awful, we never felt fully clean. The air conditioning in the room only worked sometimes, but we had to keep it on 24/7 because the room is not sealed. There are big gaps in the doors and the cold air escapes. On our first night we had to ask the staff to spray the room for bugs as we had ant Infestation. For some reason they were drawn to the bathroom and we ended up going out to the supermarket and buying bug spray as they hadn’t fully got rid of them. The beds were very comfortable though. The breakfast was free for us but we only ate it once over 7 days. The choices were poor, rice, noodles or pancakes made to order and they were average. It seemed more like lunch/dinner food. They did have toast/croissants etc but they looked very dry. The location is great because it’s right on the main strip, so there are lots of restaurants around and markets for shopping. It’s also only a short walk to the beach. It was also a struggle to get towels off of staff members, I’m not sure if there was a shortage or what? Room service food wasn’t great either, the chicken was half cold, the chips were average. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are well outdated the bathroom was old and dirty and you barely got a dribble out off the shower let alone hot water, there was no safe in the room and it took the 2 of us to close and lock the door. We also booked a room with 2 beds but was given 1, for the price we were being charged i would have expected way better than the accommodation that we received.

the small from the road is not flash but on this little lane is a great massure/beauty shop, as great laundry and a super cheap local convenience store. Once inside 14 Roses the staff are special and the hotel has a lovely Bali atmosphere resulting in everyone being friendly. Totaly loved the place

The room was not ready at 2pm we had to come back after 6pm, then the communication was terrible . The wife electrocuted her self on the mirror that had wires exposed on the back when we told reception they did not care . Rooms werent cleaned often we had to keep going to reception to ask for toilet paper as they would only give 1 out each time . The workers just didnt seem overly happy to be there or to great you. We will definitely never stay there again
