I was here for just a few hours due to not wanting to wait 10 hours at the airport after my cruise disembarking. Rosy and Lidia were really great! There was a long line since it was a Friday, but Rosy was getting people in and out! Our room was ready in less than 20 min, I don’t have any complaints and I’d stay again. Block and a half away from Miami Beach!

Went for work convention. Bed very comfortable, room very clean. Sink area very small, so no where to set toiletries. Very limited tv options. Balcony was nice, but faced electric wires mainly. Construction was happening on roof above my room, so no sleeping in was possible. Close to everything, including trolley stops and good restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel had free drinks daily during happy hour for guests, which was nice. Worst part was elevator was broken last day, and I had to drag a huge suitcase down 4 flights of stairs. Pool on rooftop was wonderful to swim in during sunset. Overall, would stay here again as long as elevater worked and there was not construction.

Riviera Hotel South Beach -disappointing
The staff members, including the people who worked at the front desk were wonderful and so helpful. However the actual room was very disappointing. I was only there for 2 nights because I was attending a special conference taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The room was very small, yet had a king size bed. There was no actual full closet - they instead had a tall single storage cabinet for guests to put clothes in. And the safe was located at the very top in that storage cabinet and I couldn't reach it. The sink was outside the bathroom which had the toilet and shower. The bathroom door was a glass see through door. There was no phone in the room. I asked to get a wake up call. Instead of calling me on my cell phone number (which they had)? Someone knocked on the outside of my door and said, "This is your wakeup call." The staff members were great, but I would never stay there again.

This was hands down the most disappointing stay I've ever had anywhere in my life. I will elaborate below but if you don't have time to read this whole thing my summary is that my suite was filthy, blood stained sheets, dirty room, no power in the bedroom, Carpet in the hallway smelled like urine, no maid service ever came, staff was unresponsive and never helped me when I complained just pushed me off and said wait until the manager comes in but the manager never reached out. The amenities were closed which I should have been notified about prior because I would not have stayed there had I known. The desk manager smiled and stared at me when I complained. They didn't even try to make it better in any way. Didn't offer to come clean up or anything. The beds were rock hard I slept maybe two hours each night. There were stains on the mini fridge that looked like it hadn't been wiped down in years. Even when I made a small request prior to check in, to have a room with a full length mirror, they would not accommodate. This was just a huge joke and a waste of money and it ruined our trip we had planned for a year. I've stayed at cheaper hotels and had a better experience. I guess I learned my lesson. They have done nothing to make up for any of this. Awful property and awful service. Save yourself the trouble do not stay here. Parking was also a nightmare.
