The best about this hotel is definitely the location. There are lots of food options and it’s an easy drive to the parks. We did see lots of lingering people in the parking lot and the parking lot smelled like weed the whole time so we didn’t linger. The room itself wasn’t great. Everything felt very damp. The floor, the couch, the tables, even the towels meant for the shower. We had to make sure we kept our clothes zipped up in our suitcases so they didn’t also get that feeling. The shower pressure was light and didn’t get hot. Our door was crooked, so it was super hard to open and close and the top right section had a huge gap. We could hear EVERYTHING - the man coughing in the room next to us sounded like he was in the room with us and there was a dog barking all day/night that we could hear clear as day. We didn’t utilize the pool or lazy river but they looked fine when we peaked at them. We booked this hotel for just my husband and I for a quick weekend trip away - I would definitely not bring my kids to this hotel. We probably wouldn’t stay again mostly because I don’t want to pay a $23 resort fee for a small lazy river that I won’t use.

MOUSE HOUSE!
MOUSE HOUSE! And I don’t mean Mickey Mouse! I woke up around 4 AM to use the bathroom. As I was getting up, there was a mouse running close to my feet. I gathered my belongings and left after dumping my open bag on the bed and putting everything back in one by one to make sure I was not taking any critters with me. The woman at the desk offered me another room. I told her if there was a mouse in my room, then the possibility existed that they could be in any room. I left. Later, when I talked to the manager and asked about a refund, she said she would have housekeeping and maintenance do an investigation and she would get back to me. She called me back and told me that their investigation showed that there was no mouse in the room. I told her that I am 65 years old and handicapped and there’s no way that I would leave out at 4:30 in the morning for no reason. I went there for relaxation so that I could complete some writing that I was working on. I had considered extending my stay. The manager’s response made me feel like she was saying I was supposed to ignore what my eyes saw, and the fact that my heart was racing. Nobody Apologized. Of course they should know that they have mice there. Anyone with a business that has them is probably aware I am so disappointed. My family and I have stayed there many times.

We went to the hotel for the lazy river and slide. But these are only open noon to 7pm, so we were NOT able to use them. But we got charged a resort fee of $23! NOT HAPPY!!

Room smelled like mold. They tried to cover the smell with bleach but after a couple hours, the bleach smell wore off. The bathroom had mold on the top. Room was clean and staff was meh. No room service during my stay. Maybe I came on a bad weekend. 2.5 rating
