I liked that it was just next door to one of the underground stations and also walkable to the famous Namba and Dotonbori areas. The hotel has a swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant inside, even though we did not use any facilities due to our tight schedule. I did not like that there was a cockroach in our bathroom. The staff was very quick to come and spray the area with insect chemicals to kill it. We requested to be switched to another room so that they could disinfect the bathroom better. The hotel was full that day but they accommodated us the following day and switched us to another room that we did not have a problem with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the APA Hotel.

Check-in was at 3pm, staff seem to be annoyed by the amount of customers they need to serve. They just look overworked and kind of frustrated. The vibe felt like we were being bothersome. Facilities are good, but please just empty the garbage daily at least.

This hotel is right on top of the Hommachi subway station, which made it super convenient to get around Osaka. Unfortunately, the pool is closed for the season after September, and we only found out when we checked in.

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms are compact but quiet sufficient. The sibway is right next to the hotel. The entertainment area is quiet close by as well.

The hotel faces a concrete freeway. The staff is robotic. The room was so extra small at 17m that we couldn’t fit out 2 suitcases. You have to step into (12”) bathroom. I am in my 70’s. This was difficult in middle of the night. The pool and facilities advertised were closed. This was the only reason I chose this location.

Staff were like robots. They were trying to get everyone to do everything through automation. They were not able to communicate in English. The lobby looked great, but the room was so small that would could not fit even one suitcase and two carry-ons. The bathroom is for tiny people. You better know how to step up 12 inches every time you wanna use it.

The hotel was very clean and well looked after with friendly staff and easy ro communicate with , having a family mart on the 2nd floor and subway below made it very convieniant to get food 24 hrs and travel anywhere to and from the hotel

Self check in and check out was convenient and easy. It has direct access to the Hommachi subway station via Exit 18, that has a lift. Room is comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed ourstay in APA chain of hotels in Japan.
