The staff were very attentive with our inquiries and bag transport, and greeted you when you left and returned the property. Breakfast choices of an American or Japanese buffet was abundant. Walking distance to Dontonburi, shopping, and many restaurants. Subway access at the bottom of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return when bank in Osaka.

> they refuse to sell you the airport limousine ticket the day before and expect you to line up at purchase at midnight. Not only that but they only have 2 available bus schedule. I've never been to a hotel that refuses selling next day/ upcoming tickets > When I was checking in, I was told that we have to pay for "accommodation tax" when I check out. I've booked over a dozen of hotels via expedia and never had to pay extra at the hotel. Major red flag > Room cleaning is not good. There were hair all over the counter/ sink when we checked in > Bathroom is not safe for elderly as there are no handles and you could easily slip and fall > There is no elevator from the first to second floor (lobby). You have to go on the escalator then take the elevator to your room > No keycard needed to select floor level - not safe

Great stay near Dotonbori
Had an amazing stay here at Hotel Nikko. Location is central, near all the shops, restaurants and most importantly the subway. They have an elevator that will take you down to access Shinsaibashi subway station which was so convenient. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The property is in great location for everything shopping, dining and transportation! The only issue I have is the rooms ability to get comfortably cool especially at night when we’re sleeping. The A/C vent is only directed to the hallway entrance and doesn’t flow through the bedside. It was warm and uncomfortable!
