The hotel is in excellent location, rooms are spacious, everything is almost perfect except the clarity of advertisement is not clear and staff attitude is not very welcome, somehow considered to be discrimination. We reserved big room with two double/full beds (expected max 2 adults). When we checked-in, the staff (his name seems to be a Korean) does not allow my son (11 years old) to be a child to share the bed. So if a 11 years old boy is not a child, what age do you considered to be NOT an adult ? This is not so clear when posting the ads to define “adult” age. In addition, we asked for another room to rent because of this ridiculous thing. The staff said no rooms available and he also mentioned to us “the child cannot stay in the room” - it seems like we came from a third-world country and do not know the rules. That’s a worst experience I got through this Japan trip with Sotetsu Freisa Hotel in Osaka.

The hotel was fine… just an instance with a male staff member left me with a sour taste. I was talking with her about a question I had… there was a communication problem as I cannot speak Japanese… but this male staff member came over and said “wait a minute” when I knew what they were looking at was incorrect…. I said do not bother it’s ok.. it was literally just asking if a food delivery service had come, when they thought I meant a parcel or something. All is well… just the “wait a minute” is quite abrupt and somewhat rude where I am from.
