Prime location and quiet

Prime location on 5th avenue where The rooms are in The back Yard so quiet at night Time. The rooms are ok and clean Garden is cool and service is more than décent

pool area dirty and need of repair. Had to wash off bird poo off patio pool chairs out side toilet gross. Old mattress in room no blow dryer said was one in ad for hotel, bath towels dingy, no restraunt or club like said in ad. free breakfast was a joke table with corn flakes , bread , sanka , tang. Bugs biting in room and out side. Air conditioner to big for room.

Location great

This was actually our 4th time staying here. Bed not comphy...not fancy but clean. Somewhat noisy from nearby disco...mainly Friday/Saturday. Just be aware of the cost. I searched one travel option site and it was far from "budget". This is a moderate budget place in a can't be beat location.

We were for 10 days and the service is amazing at the front desk. Room was cleaned daily and service was outstanding.

Terrible place

I booked for 6 nights and after one night I moved to another hotel because I couldn't stay there longer. Stain on the bed, no hot water, humid and very dark room, noisy, toilet couldn't flush, breakfast was dry bread on a table and Korn Flakes. I can't believe Expedia is doing business with that hotel. I lost my time and my good mood there.

No windows

It was like staying in solitary confident. There was no windows and the hot water took forever to trickle out. As for the beds I was better off sleeping on the beach in the sand. They were hard stiff and tough. The only good thing about the hotel was the location.

This hotel is right on 5th, one block from the beach. George at the front desk was extremely helpful. This hotel is great if you're on a budget, has basic amenities, but was clean.

Budget hotel in the middle of the action.

Hotel was everything I expected as far as amenities for such a low price. Staff were friendly and helpfull and the room was clean. If your backpacking or just on a tight budget it's a good place to stay. As well it's close to the beach and right on 5th avenue.

Fine for the price. Too many trees overhanging the pool make it messy. They need proper remotes for the TV's. Such a simple thing but annoying. Friendly staff.

perfect spot on th strip

This is perfect for people on a small budget it is right on the strip and 2 minute walk from the beach.roos were cleaned daily.pool is small and lots of mosquitoes around there.

A no frills budget hotel

Stayed here one night while visiting Playa Del Carmen. The hotel is right in the middle of the action downtown, which was great. The air conditioning worked, but other than that, don't expect any amenities. Overall, good for the price.

Need some linen?

Pictures didn't do justice. Our room was two double beds combined as one with the mattress exposing and the linen had holes. We asked for a top sheet and we were given two bath towels as a sheet. This was one of the bottom five places we have ever stayed at.

Not a great place to stay

This hotel is not very nice, and they have poor customer service policies like over booking and then trying to move guests with reservations to othermuch lower quality hotels. Stay here if you need a cheap place in this area, but just be very careful that they don't try to pull a fast one on you.

Good for very low budget stay

It is a very small very old property. Rooms are small, bathroom is extra small. No curtain on shower. TV with no remote. Ceiling fan that doesn't work. Should be good for people who wants to spend the less amount of money possible and yet be on the 5th ave. Furniture, blankets and bed's bases were very old, but sheets looked super clean, and mattress was surprisingly very comfortable. Just 1 pillow per bed. Overall cleaniness of the room was excellent. Hotel may be for very low budget travel but is still a good option compared to price and service, because it is very well located, staff is friendly and room is clean. Pool is extremely small (almost jacuzzi size) and it didn't looked very clean. If your room is close to the front desk, forget about extra sleeping on the morning, as you may hear a lot of noise and the constant ring of the phone.

Good clean budget hotel,,,in the middle of all the action on 5th ave.... Friendly helpful staff,,,, english speaking which is helpful...its all about location,location,location....The tour guides out front of hotel can be a little annoying... If looking for cheap clean accomadations this is it. Close to beach 5 minute walk.
