We booked the hotel for a nearby wedding and arrived at check in time. The receptionist stated that our room was not ready and would be another 45 minutes explaining that the hotel was fully booked the night before. I explained that we could not wait around as we had to leave immediately. Our plan was to check in, freshen up and leave. Again the receptionist said that they were fully booked the night before and made us feel like it was our fault the room was not available.
When we returned later on that night there was no one present at reception to check us in and we had to wait, which was the last thing we wanted to do with two young children. This was not the service we expected
I thought it was a nice friendly hotel that offered good value for money and great leisure facilities. Pool was a lovely temperature.
The only downside was the amount of times the door keys stopped working over the 4 days....especially the time I had to go to reception to get it fixed, only to be at the back of a queue of 8 people waiting to check in, with only one person working the desk...could have done without that.
Stayed two nights 3 in one room with a sofa bed. Sofa bed was not made up correctly, there was no mattress on it, didn’t realise until my daughter got up the next morning with a very sore back. Breakfast on day one was a shambles no clean tables and hardly any food left at 9:30, breakfast is served until 10:30 so you would expect there to be food left
Pretty small basic room but clean and tidy.
Parts of the hotel are quite dated but some of it has been updated. Ok to get your head down. Pool was ok very busy so not quite as leisurely as would have liked. Again quite dated. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment.
