I found the layout of the room quite strange with having to enter theoretically through the bathroom, with more space being given to that actual area than to the bedroom part of the room. If you have two people staying in a room for a length of time there is never enough storage space for luggage etc. I also find it strange that now a hotels want you to conserve energy by reusing towels, but again if there are two people using a room there is only enough space to hang one towel

A great place to stay
Close to Central, Capitol Theatre and Art Gallery - great location for a weekend in Sydney. Room was lovely - bed was sooo comfortable and the room was quiet. Bathroom and supplies were excellent - great shower. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is outstanding- the tiramisu is to die for. Staff were very friendly and got early check in despite it being a super busy night with events on in the city.

Loved everything about Ace Hotel. My medium room was spacious and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on in ages. The design features are gorgeous, and the breakfast at Loam was excellent. Easily walkable from Central Station and into the city.

Loved our stay at the Ace! From the moment we checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel has a great vibe and the rooms are perfect with unique touches. The location in Surry Hills is ideal with numerous first class coffee shops, brunch places and dinner options near by and when it’s time to leave, the train to the airport is only a short walk away. We will be back on our return to Sydney.

Service is so so. The hotel has a restaurant on the main floor with loud music and people coming and going every night so it is so noisy. Elevator is super slow. Not enough lights in the bathroom and toilet - it is extremely dark in these spaces.

Amazing, hotel is so cool and has so many facilities. A bit random that in the small room there is no seperate bathroom space, but it was still such a beautiful room. The staff went above and beyond and were very helpful.
