Convenience and value
We have used Castlereagh Boutique Hotel a number of times now and find it good value overall. The location is very convenient to most attractions in the City and generally walkable with the option of public transport nearby. Don't expect modern touches within the hotel confines but do expect refinement and a touch of an elegant past. We generally arrive much earlier than the published check-in time but really appreciate the ability to leave our bags in safe storage while we start exploring. This hotel is now our "go to" place in Sydney and used by many of our friends and family.

We stayed here for a week and loved our stay. The beds were comfortable, rooms made up nicely every day, lovely new bathroom. Beautiful old-style furnishings throughout the hotel with that old-world charm present. Lovely food, very reasonably priced and the service was very personable, way beyond expectation from staff across all areas. The hotel is also a couple of minutes walk from buses, light rail and two train stations - it couldn't be better situated. Plus the new station soon to open next door. We would highly recommend this hotel.
