Two Day Trip to Central Sydney
This was a two night stay on business. The hotel is easy to find and near the Town Hall train station is you are using the train form the airport. The location is great and next to the QV Building. Many places to eat and drink as near. Consider NOT booking a room with a balcony. The level of noise from the street if you face York Street is significant. To their credit, the hotel does supply ear plugs for free upon request.

Amazing hotel, very close to everything related to transport. The staff is very helpful and easygoing. They let me check 2 hours before my initial checking time. Oh, don't get fooled by the compact queer room. It is huge!

The location and staff are excellent. The room was basic and clean. If you want fresh air, the windows don’t open. I didn’t mind that. But I didn’t like that I couldn’t turn on the heater as it’s always set to cool. I asked staff about this and they said that it couldn’t be changed and offered me an extra duvet and a mini heater. I noticed that I would wake up with very dry eyes and throat. I’m not certain, but I believe they may be using a dehumidifier constantly in the room, considering the air conditioning unit is locked. Another annoyance was that there was nowhere next to the bed to plug in my phone. I had to plug it away from me, above the fridge. Just inconvenient at times. The hotel is across from Town Hall and very connected to public transport. Easy to get around. Not a bad hotel. Decent for price. If you’re looking for something basic, clean, convenient, and cost effective, it’s a good choice. Lots of delicious food options around and a Woolworths just across the road.

Loved it was just handy to everything esp as I arrived by train from the Int airport. Receiving an email with all that easy to follow travel info prior made it so much easier for someone who would never had taken the train before. Its saved me money and time and was so easy with your clear directions. Also being able to leave my bag there for the day . Thanks so mu h for the great stay and service.

Great City Hotel!
YHES Hotel Sydney QVB is my go to City Hotel for its excellent location within walking distance to EVERYTHING! And public transport just 2 mins away. It is always clean, comfortable and welcoming and offers good prices and services. There is a lounge on the first floor with tea, coffee, microwave and filtered water and a big dining table if you need some space to catch up with friends or family. Highly recommend.
