Very disappointed with stay. Shower was terrible, hot water was intermittent and the whole place is very run down. Would never stay here or book with Wotif again. I was misinformed

This property is rundown and has not been maintained well. Old wrinkled carpet, kinda patched up bathroom. Bed was clean and gave us a good night sleep. However, it is a very average / below average place.

DONT STAY HERE
Please don’t stay here, it’s nasty and outdated…I don’t mind old hotels but this was a nasty place with no up keeps, room was disgusting and smelled bad and even hallways were nasty and carpet was ripped.. looks like this hotel owner doesn’t put any money back in hotel.

Good place to stay
Communal area was very welcome particularly as we spent most of the day there (along with another group) due to inclement weather conditions. No problems having meals in there. Comfortable beds, but sliding bathroom door rather noisy and toilet directly opposite the head of the single bed. Wide choice of cooked and continental breakfast at good price. Staff/owners very friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is dated, but had what we needed for a one night stay. The receptionist, Dang, was wonderful & extremely helpful in getting us reservations for the glow worm caves & a trip to Milford Sound.

Room was quiet and warm but old fittings. Taps in bathroom too close to the sink so couldn’t get hands properly underneath it and didn’t turn off completely so kept running. Shower tap was a dial type thing that kept turning by itself so water got scalding hot at times.
