The underground parking entrance is located on the South side of Gerrard street between Yonge St and Bay St. The hotel underground parking garage has a maximum height restriction of 5 feet, 6 inches in certain areas and cannot accommodate oversized passenger vehicles.
The Family Fun Zone on the 2nd floor, including the swimming pool and waterslide, Teen Lounge, Kid Center, saunas, and self-service laundry facilities, is closed for renovations until the end of January 2026. During this time, the Kid Centre has been relocated to the Club Lounge (27th floor), available Sunday-Thursday from 9 AM-5 PM, and Friday-Saturday from 9 AM-9 PM (closed daily from noon to 1 PM). The pool on the 27th floor is open to all guests from 6 AM-11 PM.
This hotel will enact the following policy for stay dates during Caribana Toronto and New Year's Eve: Each guest must register with the hotel and receive a wristband; no more than 3 wristbands per room. A wristband is required for room access after 9 PM.

Renovations and closures

The hotel is wonderful! The room was clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good! The staff was very accommodating and I liked that there was a little coffee counter and a lounge in the hotel. I was told however that one of the doors was locked from the outside to come in due to the area. I would recommend for the price.

The location was perfect and suited our needs (close to public transportation, restaurants, grocery stores). The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and was quiet. Loved the self check-in/out kiosk. The bathroom desperately needs more hooks for hanging clothes and towel racks. The hot water was inconsistent during morning 'rush hour' and it would have been nice to have a hand-held shower head. The room door leaked light all the way around, and the closet doors need to be repainted. THe 'balcony' was nothing more than a pigeon coop with poop, nests and feathers - completely unusable. We didn't interact with hotel staff, but the Bay street doormen assured us that the Niagara Bus would pick us up on Bay, and we nearly missed the Bus that actually picked us up on Gerard.

Great location for a fair price to enjoy the heart of Toronto. Would definitely stay again. We asked for highest available room, and we got 22nd floor with great view. Busy hotel with 1600 rooms, even airline crews stay there. Concierge staff very helpful in planning our excursions

It was a good and short stay, that was very close to everything and within walkable distance. The only thing was that it seems like not all the rooms are renovated and up to date. I stayed in a much older style room this time round compared to last time I was there.
