Always had good luck with expedia, needed to cancel a night wasn’t able, then get there with 3ppl and was booked in a room with one bed, then our key wouldn’t work, four trips down to desk before they did, frustrating! Pool was overcrowded, but at 7am was good. Not impressed with chelsea or expedia

I booked this trip in the late summer cause there was a show my son wanted to see. I heard a lot of great reviews about the Chelsea on Instagram ads or people saying it was great. I didn’t think it was that amazing. Unfortunately the kids area and pool was under construction, this happened in October but I was never informed after my booking of the changes. I was looking. Forward to taking my son to the kids only area and water slide. If I had knew it was closed I would have cancelled and made reservations at another hotel. The breakfast buffet was expensive so I went elsewhere to eat as the options didn’t seem worth it for the price. The hotel was very busy cause of the holidays and they had some things going on which was nice but I do wish we were informed upon check in to try and make time to also enjoy those. The room was okay, nothing to complain about just basic. It was extremely loud though. You could hear everything outside people yelling, sirens, car horns and I was so hard to fall asleep peacefully. The tv guide was a bit off as the shows it said it was playing was not accurate at all. I was trying to put something on for my son and I to watch but it was never what was said or Inappropriate for him. The proximity to the mall was nice and the food options around was nice as well. I did however try to use the vending machine and had to call the front desk to say that my money was taken and the machine would not give it back. So I had to go and talk to some

A convenient hotel for accessing downtown. The rooms were clean and the beds okay. The service by the cleaners was excellent. The coffee maker worked well and we appreciated it being restocked daily. The fridge also worked well, and good pressure and water temperature. We couldn’t get the room to cook down even when we opened the patio doors. The fire alarm went off for over an hour with very little communication from staff. There was always such a long line up at the desk you could never speak to anyone. The pool and gym were okay. The hot tub was only lukewarm and didn’t have enough water in it. We didn’t have a car, but if we had, the parking was very expensive and difficult/time consuming to access. Not their fault, but the amount of construction in the area was wild. Construction noise and blocked sidewalks all the time.
