A true oasis from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Having the wonderful option of taking the complimentary shuttle was fun. The breakfast buffet was out of this world. And the customer service was extraordinary. We enjoyed Christmas dinner on one of the hotel’s dinner cruise ships and the food was outstanding and it was a lovely intimate atmosphere quite unlike the passing massive party boats on the same river. We felt very lucky we chose this hotel.

Great place to feel comfortable!
This stay was 2nd for us. Like the previous stay, this resort satisfied us again. In Bangkok, this resort is much different from others in the point that we can feel comfortable and cozy like inside forest. Of course the food and pool as well as service was excellent. If we visit Bangkok, we would like to stay again.

Door not working properly
The hotel is nice with good facilities but we have a problem with the door entry system. I need to visit reception 4 times to get it sorted and then stopped working again after we went out. Again need the receptionist came up to the room to reset the door. Very innoying and waste a lot of my time

An oasis in Bangkok, just the best
We have been coming to the Anantara riverside for years. It is always excellent, we are welcomed like old friends. Happy hour around the pool 4-6pm is an institution, I have 2 cocktails and Sarah had Singha beer. The Longtail bar is rebuilt and beautiful, we had a meal and drinks there one night. Our final evening we had cocktails at the famous Trader Vics. We take our time over breakfast, reading the Bangkok Post and working our way through small portions of many courses. we just love it and highly recommend it
