I waited in line to be checked in all while watching 4 clerks help the guests in front of me. After waiting 15 minutes, a Caucasian man walks in the lobby and one of the front desk clerks steps over and helps him immediately!!! I had to wait another 5 minutes before someone cared enough to help me?! Our driver dropped us off at the main building instead of the corner building, but the bellman was so nice helping us get to the right building. He was probably what made the experience great. Hotel staff at the corner building was also great. Main building front desk….will be the reason I never stay there.

Davis is a decent option in Bangkok although the hotel is a little faded these days and could do with a lift. The location is good and walkable to Sukhumvit Road.

I stayed here for 12 nights. The property itself was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably needs a complete makeover as its like stepping back into the 90s with the decor. There was also strong underlying damp smell to the place though...particularly in the corridors and in the rooms which we did get used to but yeah...not pleasant. I would have appreciated some more coffee tea and milk sachets in the room if i was being really picky...having Starbucks downstairs was a saving grace. Overall you get what you pay for and The Davis Hotel would go to the next level if they decide to invest and renovate to the modern day.👍

I loved the staff, especially Susie and Nine, they were amazing and very helpful. My room was nice and comfortable, hotel was always cleaned and smelled good. My only dislike was maybe your pool , its small , hidden, and no people ever, your pool needs more energy and life around it.

I had a small blister on my elbow and it bled slightly on the bedsheets. They tried to charge me 1500 baht for it. You know they would have it cleaned for 100 baht. The replacement sheets they put on it had many stains...i think they are playing games. When i refused to pay 1500 baht, they refused to return 1000 damage deposit. I will not return
