I stayed here for 12 nights. The property itself was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably needs a complete makeover as its like stepping back into the 90s with the decor. There was also strong underlying damp smell to the place though...particularly in the corridors and in the rooms which we did get used to but yeah...not pleasant. I would have appreciated some more coffee tea and milk sachets in the room if i was being really picky...having Starbucks downstairs was a saving grace. Overall you get what you pay for and The Davis Hotel would go to the next level if they decide to invest and renovate to the modern day.👍

Nightclub in the lobby.
It would have been an ok hotel...BUT. They were turning the lobby into a night club and the music could be heard in all the rooms until the early hours of the morning. Not only that, but they were private parties and you couldn't even join in the fun. You just had to listen to the loud music from your room every night.

Khun Tim ( porter) excellent. Everyone else in reception hates their jobs thus hates having to deal with any tourist. It's costs nothing to be nice kind and helpful. Very very disappointing

Nice older hotel. Pool tiles need attention. Mattress is a little too firm. Water pressure for the shower is great! Staff is great. Nice lobby. Didn't eat in the hotel nor did I enter the nightclub.

A really excellent hotel with great rooms and great service. The in-room baths and the rooftop gym/pool are both excellent if those matter to you. If I had ONE complaint it's that the breakfast is average, but it's still good for the price and didn't get me sick. That said, this was my first trip to Bangkok and I do have to say the surrounding area is VERY off-putting in terms of traffic safety, aesthetics, and the somewhat limited dining options. But that might just be par for the course for the city.

Nice spacious room, very comfortable bed, bathroom was a bit dated, hotel is nicely situated 15 mins south of the nightlife and shopping of Sukhumvit rd. swimming pool was lovely and refreshing after a normal hot Bangkok afternoon

It was a great deal... but there was no hot water in the shower. At the sink yes, but not at the shower. Had a beautiful jacuzzi, but didn't use due to the water being cold. I'd stay there again, but forewarned.

The hotel is ok but please remember there are 2 hotels, the corner and the main. If you are in the corner you must go outside about 30 meters to get to the other hotel which has the pool and amenities. Very inconvenient.
