It’s an old hotel in an old commercial part of town mainly for locals. So, it’s a hectic area and traffic is always bad there. That said it locates in the same building as a mall and it takes only 5-10 min walk to a BTS Skytrain station. So, it’s fine to commute on the days without luggage, but you have to plan for extra time on the departure day to the airport. When I visited, a large scale renovation is in progress. Appeared to had been and will continue for a while (hence, it offered reduced prices). You should check with the hotel to make sure about their renovation plan.

Honeymoon!
Oh wow! We caught ourselves saying this so often, whether walking inside the atrium, into our room, or out on our balcony. WE stayed 1 full week in mid November, 2024. The staff was beyond what we were accustomed to (our first trip to asia), anywhere. And we travel very often. Smiles and hello gestures from 100% of the staff, holding elevator doors, welcoming us back, or to have a great day. And I'm sure they didn't realize it was our honeymoon, especially since we are in our 60s. The room was a monster. almost 1000 sq. ft., two balconies, and a large kitchen, of which we never used. Why would you? 5 steps out the door and street food is everywhere! Our room was completely renovated. Looked as if we were the very first users. Yes, it was that clean! Walk out the door and you're immediately greeted with a lively, beautiful street scene. Cafes, restaurants, street food galore. A wonderful day market is to the left, just walk into it from the least location expected. It's Bangkok in a nutshell. Very little to no English. But it's not needed, somehow. Hard to explain, but communication just works. Full of friendly facial expressions all day. Wow. And the colors. The hotel is perfectly located. Steps from the BTS, which we used often. We walked to Chinatown twice. Nice sidewalks, nice stores, great street scenes, with people experiences everywhere. In summary, Centre Point Silom hotel is an A+ choice, 5 stars easy for us. Clean. Bright. Friendliest staff anywhere. Thank you!

It was a spacious room. The hotel is under renovation, but the swimming pool was in use. Recommend this hotel to family or big group members looking for a big room.

I understand that it was going under renovation and for the most part the interior of the building itself was clean…. But the linen and towels were dirty…. Found several towels and bedsheets with stains on them even after requesting new sheets… not ok

We traveled in a group of 6, and were worried about the place not being big enough for us all. To our surprise, the suite was big! We didn’t feel crowded at all. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially the bell captain, Leo. When we struggled to find where our taxi was, Leo offered to find us a driver with better rates. He made great recommendations on where we should visit and what we should be careful with etc. Leo always greeted us with a positive attitude and such a kind warmth. Our group walked back and forth to our floor and the outside markets so often, the whole team knew who we were. They struck up conversations with us and we just felt so comfortable here. It’s been a day since we left this place to explore another city & we honestly miss this place so much. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bangkok! 💯

The hotel was average. It was very clean and the staff were extremely nice but the construction definitely takes away from a high level of comfort. The pool is open but not kid friendly. For our first visit to Bangkok we felt in the middle of the action but a little too far from popular attractions.

Very spacious room, clean room, and currently going through some renovation. Best was staffs and worst was neighbors- old and dirty. But that is common. I wish they improve TV system do that we can watch netflix, yourube. They only had some old model and not supporting those webbased appps.

The hotel was in renovation, so we have to accept some inconvenient like swimming pool unavailable. The noise was very acceptable. Staff very nice and gentle, good breakfast, very well located to 200 meters of Silom BTS, Piers,etc. I will come back in the futur when the renovation work will be done. I recommend it.

A nice hotel that has recently been renovated, with some areas still requiring completion. Our room was comfortable, however there was an unpleasant smell emanating from the drain plugs in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of foods. Good location, near the river.
