Not a fan of the black mold present in Unit 8! Clearly there has been either poor property checks or the Landlord is not maintaining the property. The maintenance staff said they would visit to inspect and do a temp fix and paid it off. Also the fly screen door was off its rails, the data wall point was broken and the shelf in the shower was broken. So much potential yet so much disappointment. To make it worse there was a couch in one parking spot so we had 1.5 carparks!
The location for this property is excellent. The interior condition of the property was excellent. The only 2 items that were not favorable for this property were - 1) unavailability of Wifi inside the property and 2) the car parking entrance and location was very tight for a bigger car.

Apartment itself was great but we had issues with the speed and ferocity of lift door closing - we couldnt all get in without holding door open and doors did cause injury

There were several lights out to the property one being the 2nd bedroom & the other to the walk in robe in the main bedroom. Also, the spot light to the shelf in the kitchen was hanging away from the ceiling & had cob webs around it (obviously been like that for a while). The glass shelf under this area was covered in dust. Unit needs some general maintenance done to bring it back to being a luxury stay especially for the price we paid.
This is a really lovely apartment. Well maintained and spotlessly clean with everything needed for a good stay. It is also very handy to the Kingston Shops, with its numerous restaurants and bars, plus walking distance to many of the major tourist attractions.
However, the main problem is that the apartment has no WiFi and is in a big Telstra black spot which means we were unable to access the internet. Even mobile phone access is very iffy. Suggest that the owner do something about this as internet access is no longer a luxury but in many cases, a necessity.
Spacious apartment close to restaurants, bus depot markets, river walk and parks. Parking lot was tight for a Kia Carnival but not impossible and smaller cars would have no problem. Beds were comfortable and we’d stay again.
