the staff were very helpful, and the room was well equipped and immaculate. The location is great - the hotel is surrounded by eating options, shops and supermarkets all within 2 minutes walk.

I’m not sure why this is rated wonderful or excellent on hotels.com b/c the room was definitely not that. The lobby was great. All decorated for Christmas, clean and well kept. We stayed on the third floor of building A. We were told to park underground (free parking if you joined their membership for free) but was confusing as they only had one sign showing elevator. Well that elevator took us to the first and second floor which we got off at the first and had to ask where the elevator in the underground was to get to the third floor. When we finally found our room, it smelled of perfume or highly scented cleaner. The carpet was old, the bed looked well worn in (it was ok to sleep on) and the room was overall just dark. For one night it was ok. Maybe this part is the original and maybe there’s a newer section that the high ratings are for. It just wasn’t for me.

This place is great , whether it is family or work trips the location , rooms and facilities are awesome. The staff are amazing every time and very helpful nothing is a bother! Shout out to Ram for always a warm welcome, and to the security guy for always providing a solid hurrah!

3rd times we stayed in this hotel was a plesure. Convenience, so many restaurant around, asian grocery, pubs and bubble tea shop. Comfy bed, just need to upgrade the pillow I suggested. All of them has been flat.

Was very easy to check in, Parking was also provided and could have charged my EV for free if I had the type 2 to type 2 cable, excellent service, very happy, if we ever stay overnight again in Canberra will book again with Dickson's.

Location is very convenient, in the centre of Dickson where plenty of dining options (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, McDonald’s and cafes with great coffee etc.) Room is standard hotel room, clean and neat. The most thing I appreciated was, they provide two different kind of pillows (soft and firm). Our trip is basically for my son’s sport competition, so we go out at 7am and only back to hotel at 8pm after dinner. We are very happy to stay just for having a good rest. This is our second time to stay here and probably for next year sport events, we will come back to stay as well.
