Second time staying at this hotel, and it won't be the last. Quiet, clean hotel, with helpful staff. Perfectly located in the heart of Edinburgh. Everything cool is in walking distance. Highly recommended

Hotel was in a great location but unfortunately our room was located next to either construction or deliveries. I’m not sure which as we could not see anything but it was very noisy every morning starting around 5am. The hotel was clean and very friendly, efficient, helpful staff.

We loved everything about our stay. The location is awesome - close to shops and restaurants. We had a room with an incredible view of the castle. The staff were extremely helpful and hospitable. Room was spacious and the amenities were plentiful. We will be staying here again when we return to Edinburgh.

We loved our balcony facing the Edinburgh Castle! The breakfast was some of the best we have had in our travels around Europe and wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is in a very popular area which is good and bad. Great for getting to everything, bad because it was very noisy outside and the rooms were so warm you needed to keep the windows open so you could sleep.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was quick and tasty. But the best part was the size of the room. I was very impressed because sometimes city hotels feel cramped but this was spacious. We had some could rainy weather and enjoyed an afternoon relaxing in the room, driving coffee, and looking at the views of the castle while we warmed up

Comfortable and convenient
The hotel was conveniently located near Victoria St, the Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile in the historic area. My husband is gluten free and we were surprised that they made his eggs to order with gluten free toast daily. We had a pleasant stay.

We loved the large room with the balcony view of the Castle. The bathroom was large with a bathtub and separate shower and storage space above the sink. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Very conveniently located to the city center for dining, shopping and tours. One of the best hotels we stayed at in our 3 country tour in the UK over 3 weeks.

An absolutely fabulous hotel! Five stars for everything! The room was spotless and spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel provided a peaceful oasis in a busy and stunningly beautiful city. The Grassmarket area is delightful, filled with shops and restaurants, has a castle view, and is an easy walk to the Royal Mile with all it has to offer.
