Lovely hotel with everything you could need. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful with any queries.
Only complaint, which didn’t in any way spoil our stay, was that the room was a bit cool at night and a couple of extra blankets would have been handy.
We were on the first floor at the front. Extremely noisy especially late at night, no fault of the hotel and they did let one room in our booking of 3 rooms swop to a quieter one.
Location is great for Old Town area and around 15 minutes from station.
The carpet was dangerously dirty, I would wipe a cloth in there and dirt and hair would stick to it, rooms are in terrible shape and they stink. Positive the front desk staff is very nice and efficient and breakfast was a 10/10 with great staff. Even with all of this the hotel is terribly dirty specially the carpet it looked like it had not been truly cleaned for months it was one of the worst I have ever seen
This hotel is in the perfect spot, short walk to both the new and old town! Beautiful view of the castle! Staff were lovely and helpful. Will be planning to come back in the future!
The rooms were very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. If you are reserving a room ask for something at the back of the property as the traffic in the morning was very busy if your room overlooks Bread Street. Not unbearable but I’m a light sleeper! My boys had a room at the back of the property and it was very quiet.
The food.at the restaurant was not so good.
Breakfast was fine
The food at the Mondobbo was not great .we returned the pizza but the offered a.refund.we are waiting.Overallservice was very good
