The hotel is modern, spacious, and secure. The staff is professional and polite. The atmosphere is energetic. Although I appreciate the convenience of the restaurant, the quality was subpar. However, the room was clean and comfortable.

Been to better, been to worse.
Had no choice but to pay for valet parking as they had no self park option. Couldn’t get anyone from the restaurant to answer to order room service and when we went down to the restaurant no one came out from the back to take an order. Bathroom smelled like mold and sewage. Front desk guy was nice. Walls and windows were paper thin and we could hear EVERYTHING.

Courtyard Marriott Downtown is a very nice and modern hotel. It smells amazing when you walk in. The rooms are spacious and clean. I didn’t really care for the half glass shower door as you could get water all on the floor but we didn’t. Lucky us. The beds oMG the beds are the worst I’ve ever slept in. I felt like I was laying on a piece of cardboard on the concrete. These beds are so hard with literally no bounce. The lobby area is really nice and I loved that they had a Starbucks coffee machine. Check in was a breeze but they charged me a $150 destination fee. Then will give you 3- $20 vouchers but fail to tell you it comes out the $150 u paid. I had to ask questions cause they definitely did not tell me. The rooftop pool/lounge was very nice with an okay view. They have two bars and play music but only Wednesday-Saturday. The hotel lobby had some really good wings and fries. They also have a really nice gym. The Hatch was so good we had breakfast there everyday. I loved the vibe it was definitely a happy place. We also had a açaí bowl from berry and grain which was really good. This is such an awesome area not many restaurants near but only a short uber ride. We never had to wait longer then two minutes to get and Uber and it was only a short drive to get to the beach and other places. I would definitely stay here again even though the beds sucks.

Overall everything is walking distance which is convenient. However this is the second time I stay and housekeeping is not housekeeping. I took pictures of hair in the shower old soap a bug on the wall a stain on the toilet. Very disgusting I had to clean the room before I was able to enjoy my stay. This was the same issue I had last time staff is great aside from housekeeping. The only reason I stay here is because it’s close to my reason I travel.

I was literally treated like a VIP from start to finish. I am not a fan of valet parking, however, that was the least of my concerns. Love the rooftop with the pool.
