Family accommodation in Gold Coast

Best room I've ever had at this hotel! I stayed two nights with college friends, checked out of that room, then my husband arrived for the weekend and checked into a different room! Second room, not so good. See that review!

I stayed 6 days at this hotel and booked it through Expedia. The price quoted was exacting what I paid with no hidden fees. Vaket parking with unlimited in/out service was available and convenient. All of the staff members I encountered were very professional, respectful and always willing to assist. If I return to Chicago to visit again, I would book with Ambassador Chicago.

The Thompson is an excellent lodging choice in Chicago. Our room was wonderful and the staff very attentive. Lots of wonderful restaurants nearby.

Urban location, access to everything

My mother and I had a few days in the city, going shopping and enjoying restaurants. This place was a lovely historic property in a convenient location. Very clean and comfortable!

This location can’t be beat. It’s one block away from the action and sits on a quiet little street filled with historic Chicago buildings.
