Excellent service as usual from the staff, no nonsense and always very efficient. Walking distance from shopping and dining spots. Refillable water service initiative is highly appreciated. Points for improvement: 1. Furniture and doors is showing its age. Might be time for some upgrade. 2. More variety on breakfast menu 3. Halal section would be appreciated.

Hotel is past its prime. Most everything about it is old. Towels for example. Peeling paints. The doors are very loud when closing. The shower head in my room was barely working. Not enough places to sit in the lobby.

Sadly, this property has seen better days. An older hotel that has yet to be modernised with room fittings akin to 2024, that would be excusable, if the hotel was clean. Sadly, the bathroom smelled of urine, hair was on the sink/floor/bathtub and, worst of all, was inundated with drain flies. The room carpet was threadbare and the only amenities in a (so called) suite, was a kettle with Nescafé and distilled water in a jug. Not exactly the “sweet experience” one would hope for. That said, the thai restaurant was good, staff friendly and wine reasonably priced. My recommendation would be to avoid this property until it has had a full refurb.
