I thought that the property was nice. Very walkable. I didn’t like that the shower curtain wasn’t even big enough to cover the whole shower. And the walls are so thin I heard people talking loudly in the mornings and late at night. I heard someone’s dog barking. Very not enjoyable but the room itself was spacious and nice for my weekend getaway.

" I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at the DoubleTree in Orlando this past week. As a long-time Hilton member, I expected a much higher standard of service, but after this experience, I am unlikely to return. On the first morning, my family and I woke up with bug bites, only to discover bed bugs infesting our luggage and clothing. This experience was incredibly distressing for my wife and children. When we reported the issue to the staff, we were offered a mere $30 for laundry, which was completely inadequate considering we had to discard our clothes and luggage. The hotel showed no genuine intention to address or rectify the situation. I would strongly advise against staying at this property. While I understand that such incidents can occur, the hotel's response was entirely unacceptable. " I was told i was going to be refunded for 2 nights, which i was only refunded $160. Plus parking fee was waived.

An Excellent 1st Impression from Orlando :)
The vitals were exceptional (bottled water, bathroom accessories, microwave). The mini-fridge could've used a freeze compartmrnt for ice, but the nearby ice machines made up for it...although...u had to be careful exiting your room after hrs to get some from my room's vantage point, just a lil something of note. Being able to adjust the room temp was a huge additive. The ability to see so much while walking around the interior map of the facility was speechless. There was always a + atmosphere from the staff all-round. Some of the items inside were a bit ''pricey'', but understandable since FL is a taxfree state + it's the peak end towards summer, so that can be expected. The TV was awesome, the selection of channels (non-local) was less to be desired, but mostly due to the quality of programming that was on...not that many good channels (non-sports) around to begin with, it seems. Laundry room was excellent, as well as all pool areas. That sitemap was a godsend, lol... The musical selections that played by both around the entire internal hotel area was off da friggin hook!! Including when strolling thru the front lobby!!! Could use a pamphlet of nearby options , stores, food eateries, etc. in case folks wants to use their Uber/Doordash/Grubhub--and do they send them to their room or have it sent to the front desk & come pick it up via phone call? Could use clarifications... And the rooms where the gala shows were held was awesome spaced & temp controlled :)

Not worthy of a Double Tree name
This property is beat. Everything about it is dated, run-down, and or broken. The worst part about it is the condition of the rooms. I booked here on Hotels.com and got totally bamboozled. The room I got was not as advertised. Guests can easily see into other guest's rooms, and the exterior of the property is run down with broken exterior building pieces. Parking is atrocious, prepare to walk a mile from your car to your room on a busy weekend. They reassigned me to their tower due to a large bug found on my bed when I checked in. Sadly, this wasn't the only large bug to visit me. The 3rd day I was greeted by a large cockroach dead outside of the hallway door. This was supposed to be luxurious. It wasn't at all. Again, interior was decent, run-down furniture, bathroom in desperate need of a remodel. The room smelled like mold and dirty feet and the carpet was dingy and disgusting, thank god I brought flip-flops. The room door had a large gap, making it easy for someone to break in, and the door hasp lock on the inside was partially installed... Part of the building on the first floor had a burned broccoli smell that maintenance was trying to cover up, which didn't. Everything wasn't up to standards.

Aaron checked us in and we asked if they had handicapped parking he told us yes and then gave us our room. He was not pleasant at all my wife complimented the color of his shirt and he was still just rude. We went to the 1st room he gave us and there as no handicap parking anywhere around and we were on the 2nd level. We had to walk from 2 buildings always to the room and then when we arrive there it was the wrong room. We also saw the other cars had parking passes and Aaron had not given us one. We had to all the way back to the car with our luggage and then back to the main building to get the correct room and tell Aaron about the parking pass as well as the no handicap parking near our room. He did not apologize for his mistakes or the inconvenience. We ended up running about 30 minutes behind for our dinner reservations because of Aaron mishaps. When we finally got to the 2nd room there was handicapped parking but the room was dirty there was stains all over the carpet and the bathroom was very old and had stains. This by far was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Fortunately we were only staying for a night and we had plans to be out. I would never stay at this hotel again, we have season passes to SeaWorld and thought this might be an option to stay on night to see the fireworks and don’t want to drive back but never again! If there was an option to give 0 stars that would have been the rating. Terrible choice

Google maps will send you to the wrong gate. Took us a while to find the main entrance. Front desk is great and helpful to the max. Dining options are fair on property. Plenty of options elsewhere. Family oriented atmosphere. What made an big impression one me was the fact that there were some guest in the pool having bottles of alcohol in the family pool. Bottles of Tequila,Vodka and so on the actual pool and deck. Moved the family to a different pool on property for safety.

I was robbed twice on the first night there.. the door was made to be rigged open with the curtain.. I was kicked out of my room cause I didn’t wanna talk to the manager on the 2nd shift.. I closed the door in his face and he called the cops on me.. I was so embarrassed… I demanded a fully refund.. I also will be presenting the email I have to a lawyer to sue this hotel…

The staff checking us in were FABULOUS! We had no hot water when we returned from Aquatica. Called. We were told they could send maitenance but it was almost midnight. Tried again in the morning, still no hot water. When I checked out, I let them know and was basically told “Thanks for letting us know”

Hi team I know orlando business is slow and everywhere close early but you should have at least one place or one vending machine FOR FOOD where people can purchase at least snacks or something. I spent 2 hours trying to get something delivered to me finally at 2am got something after 2 attempts. Front desk staff half nice half they dont care. Also, building 12 has no light whatsoever. Room smelled bad like really. At least buy something to clean ur carpets until you have budget to refurnish ur establishment. Many people are moving from all over to florida, orlando has lot of options. I dont think ull be able to keep in business if you keep operating as you are. You can take it or leave it, im a business person and I know my stuff. Trust me.
